Doubt he moves anywhere other than where his kids are going to be and his ex-wife isn't going to move to follow the tail end of his career.

If he leaves he'll be staying in the UK if they're settled there or moving to somewhere near Belgium and so the bundesliga

We should keep trossard he has been clutch for us scoring 19 goals and assist is top contribution.I would sell Martenelli and buy a top LW.Cant let both of them go together.

He is not consistent enough. We need a back up to spark the offense which he often does not do. Most often I don't notice any different when Martinelli sucked and gets subbed by Trossard. We need a Madueke kind of player as back up on LW.

That's a good point, going through a divorce, his ex missus isn't going to move his kids to a new country where he plays. But then again, he needs to find a new club in 12 months anyway if he doesn't move. Maybe Villa/Chelsea/Brighton/Fulham/Forrest would be interested

If the club is smart they will realize that we need to revamp that LW ASAP. I love Trossard but he is getting older and I think it’s time to sell for a decent price.

If the club is smart they would buy Summerville as a backup and a bonafide starting LW. People may turn the noses up at Summerville, but I think for a good price like 30-40m its a steal, he has a lot of good attributes and still hasn’t hit his prime so has a lot of potential to continue improving.

19 G/A is not bad at all.

"Bottom of the barrel player though, even Djimi Traore has won trophies."

Said someone in the Barcola thread.

Trossard with 3 seasons with us always gave us 20G/A in all competition he been consistent with these numbers i'd say but imo considering his age and we not going to renew his contract you shouldn't turn down 20M bids or more if they comes we need to stop losing players for free for a club in our size specially after reaching CL final and winning PL is unacceptable

rather keep him than Martinelli, I'll be honest.
Nelli should have been gone last season with Trossard leaving this summer in an ideal world.

I believe a full clear out isn’t OTT, we’re making up for years of neglect and sorting the position for the next cycle.

Hard to see us getting two LWs. At most I see one "specialist" and a guy like Rodgers who can play across.

I would keep one to ease the transition. No need to try and replace both because what is likely to then happen is we sign a starting player and sign a dead backup - just like we did at DM when we replaced Partey and Jorginho with Zubimendi and Nørgaard.

At least, if you keep one - we have a good backup. We aren't going to spend 80 odd mill on a starter and then another 80 odd mill on a young high talent backup. That's not realistic at all.

Keep one of Martinelli or Trossard. Given their ages, I would keep Martinelli, even though I prefer Trossard as a player.

That would work.

Who we keep and who we sell depends on the market itself, and who we bring in and what they offer to the team.

If we bring in Rogers then he strikes me as a Trossard replacement, martinelli would need to be replaced by an out and out winger.

It is useful to have two slightly different profiles at LW as we have had the last few seasons.

If we sign Rogers then there would be an argument he is there to play multiple positions...a new out and out winger would see they have competition but may see an opportunity to establish themselves in the first team.

It is exactly the right time to move both martinelli and trossard on if we can. Both are good but neither consistently so, there is no need for a transition season.

We are also at that stage where we look strong in other positions, let's throw what money we have at the obvious weak point in the team, left wing.

If new players are not working out then eze may be the transitional player to feature on that wing.

Arsenal fans aren't used to winning league titles and defending them. Championship moves says we should move on from Trossard. Great signing and thanks for the memories. A fee in the 25m area would be nice.

To be fair, last summer the club leaked they kept Nelli to rehab his image to then sell this summer. Although his PL performances weren't great, I think his CL goals can be co sidered a success with regards to improving his sellability

Probably did good for his image in Europe but damaged his rep further in the PL
