Don't get me wrong - great transfer back then, have given a LOT of outcome for the 27m we bought him in for - but he never been and I think never will be 1st team material for top 6 team in the prem. Super-sub, for sure, he will also give you a couple of assist and goals troughout the season, for sure... but I dont see much else than that.

31 years old, selling him for 20 mil is a insanely good return for us. Would even say it's a no-brainer.

He’s definitely good enough to be a starter for a top 4 challenging team.

He’d be one of the first names on the team sheet at Villa, Newcastle, United, Chelsea ect over the last few years.

When it comes to us, Liverpool and City, then he’s a squad player.
