Watkins is falling off I think. Emery dropping him for Rashford and Rogers combo should be setting off alarm bells.

The hope is if you’re ringfencing money for “big name” signings you don’t have to dilute it by signing a Trossard replacement.

Signing a Semenyo or Mitoma type would eat up a lot of budget. This is the cheaper option.
