Yup. Someone has the brain to observe and pass. None of them are playing to Gyokeres strengths.
There was a passage of play where the Ødegaard had ton of space from a counter attack and instead of passing the through ball to Gyokeres , he carried until the penalty area, where it became congested and the attack died.
The best we've actually played this season is when most of our attackers were injured. Burnley was the last game and before that.

Both Trossard and Eze were finding some chemistry with Gyokeres. I wouldn't be surprised if Arteta returns to that lineup for Everton.

It's mad how he looked done here last season and now is our attacker of the season so far. Maybe it's the confidence brought by the pay raise acting as a show of Arteta's trust in him. Or maybe he just had a great preseason.

LW shirt is his to lose, high football IQ, plays between lines passes that open up opponents, not safe recycled wall passes.

Eze LW or 10, Trossard LW or even 10 for me because at least either can pick out runs EARLY and neither hangs onto the ball too long.

Trossard best finisher at the club, Eze at least can score from distance, Trossard at Sunderland really need to see Ødegaard start lacing in a few, that 22/3 15 goal and 7 assist season just seems a one off.
