Need more 'Trossard type of signings' if we're going for experience rather than players who have nothing to prove like Sane (and to a lesser extent Sterling)

From the top of my head:
Bowen
Bailey
Eze
Cunha
Mitoma (alternatively Adingra or Enciso )
Mbeumo
Gordon
Kulusevski (yes, I know)

These players would be cheaper (long term), hungrier, able to play multiple positions and more importantly, okay with being left out of the starting 11 from time to time.

Thoughts?

Sane is a baller tbf really like him as a player but will come on high wages to.
And the worry for me is he is 29 and will only regress.

Without Edu here this probably happens.

Arteta signing all his mates ala Sven with Dortmund players.

Otamendi will be the guy we replace Saliba with next summer, with Mikel talking non-stop about his World Cup win and "valuable experience"

If he’s washed then no, but I do remember him playing a big part in knocking Arsenal’s All Star Best In The World XI out of the CL so define washed?

He absolutely cooked us and guys on here gloss over it. Was very good against Madrid as well.

He’s got attributes none of our wingers have.

We don't need him specifically. What's the point of binning Auba who was on his way down and then sign a another old man?
Let's sign a young winger.

He’s got things we simply don’t have, has has only recently proved he can make the difference in the biggest games.

Ideally we get a guy that’s younger, but what’s more important is getting a guy that we know can hurt teams in transition with pace and 1v1 dribbling.

He will be 29 and earns about 100k more than our highest earner. You can’t be this short sighted with very expensive signings

Did he though? He had one good half against us and that was when he was facing Kiwior.

Kiwior made Silva look like Messi a week earlier.

We all saw Sane at the Euros, he was dreadful. Dude's washed, won't be long before he ends up in Saudi, USA or Turkey.

With Edu's departure does anyone else get the feeling this might be seen as an 'easy win'.

If he signs on a reasonable wage and is deemed fit to play from day one, then sure.

But that's simply not going to be the case.
