Well, if a decade is bad I wonder what your opinion is on two decades, haha. Asking for a friend.

Nah **** that, asking for myself. She's the best thing to ever happen to me.

Is your friends name Emmanuel Macron?

Yeah he will be ou

he had a very good first tie vs us. You know who else did…Goretzka. Sane is a player that has started a downward trajectory. Would be the type of signing united makes and get a good season out of him and then the drop becomes visible.

Great post. However, I should point out that the fact I was alluding to in your post was that Kiwior is cack.

Considering he's someone Mik knows I'd err towards trusting his judgement as far as character and attitude, and he could probably be gotten for a reasonable fee, but his wage packet is gonna be nuts and probably not worth it considering he'd have 0 resale value towards the end of any contract. I'm definitely in favor of adding some more seasoned players to the squad but in this case I'd prefer to gamble on a younger up and coming guy if Nico or whatever obvious targets are a no-go.

If he's cheap enough, we should get him.
Can play both wings, knows how it feels to win some trophy's, known in BPL, still very pacey.... And he got some assists & goals in him.

Besides that: he has a tattoo of himself on his back, another +!

It’s as if we’ve multiple titles and a champions league lmao.

I don’t want Sane, but he’s got qualities that we don’t have out wide. What he did to us at the emirates, none of our players could do…
Exactly. I’ve given up on signing a young winger who has the attributes we need paired with consistency because they don’t exist/we can’t afford them.

But we still need those attributes in the squad, the level of the team now means no signing will be perfect. Look at Pep signing a very raw Doku because his team needed a 1v1 dribbler. Doesn’t start every game, still has flaws but fulfils a tactical need.

I’m not sure who/what A-M are waiting for based on the reaction to a proven top performer like Sane. I really don’t.

Sane isn’t a difference maker tho, he’s an aging inconsistent player who’s having injury issues. You don’t break the wage bill for that.
The issue is you won’t break the wage bill for anyone bar Vini Jr and I wouldn’t be surprised if you were one of the people calling him overrated and claiming our wingers were better a few months ago.

This isn’t about Sane per se but the know it all attitude on here in general?

How do you know that the surgery hasn’t fixed his groin issue and he bounces back? What is your downward trajectory based on? One season?

Yep, there’s maybe only two or three guys out there that offer us more of what we need (transition threat, ball striking) than Sane, and these guys are unattainable.

I must admit if Sane didn’t put us to the sword in April, it would be a hard pass for me.

But you can’t say he doesn’t affect big games (which is what we need) when he was a massive threat against us and Real Madrid only a few months ago.

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
