Mbeumo has option to extend his contract for another year so that giving them opportunity to ask this kind of money imo. Utd will pay that because they won't find better player

United will find players close to Mbeumo who are cheaper, definitely not better but are they at that point right now where they dine at the top table?

If Brentford are quoting cunha price tell them it is immaterial, if Mbeumo is demanding double his market worth in wages, tell him this is what you offer and he can see if someone else will pay what he wants, they won't.

United have been stupid for years, big wages as they dont want the embarrassment of someone rejecting them, after that left with players they cannot shift.

They need to reset, Mbeumo is the perfect player to do this with. Get him on their terms or Newcastle sign him for £10m less and paying less wages too

I swear journalism is at an all time low. You got people/accounts who say the same sh!t just repackaged every single day, which usually came from a source which was just some other accounts speculation.

There is not even an article or anything informative to really read, its normally just a headline and thats it, nothing backing it up, just that.

It's part of the reason why transfer windows are so frustrating these days, fans are being fed non-stop bullsh!t for months, all because a lot of these 'journos' can't shut up for a day.

The one I can't stand at the moment is TalkSports Alex Crook, the man just talks nonsense every single day.

It's crazy how some of these people can be so consistently wrong and still be classed as a professional journalist..
