They are becoming Juventus of England.
They struggle in their matches, your eyes are bleeding when you watch them play, and then they sneak a win in the end.
Just like Juventus.

ETH admitted he can't play the way he played with Ajax with players he has at United.
So he adopted magic of Allegriball.
Pragmatic, efficient and difficult to watch.
Now they are most in form team in PL, 12 points from last 5 matches.

There's a certain beauty in this type of football.
1:0 win is perfect.
You keep clean sheet, you score a goal, you get 3 points.
And you conserve energy for later.

It was Mourihno who once said (I think it was him):
I don't want 5:0 win, I want 5 1:0 wins.

Arteta also has this tendencies.
I remember him being extremely happy and proud, smiling, after we won Palace away in August.
1:0 of course, and we were down to 10 men.

Everton away, the same. Winning at Goodison Park, after how long?
Not to mention City, 5 weeks ago.

1:0 to Arsenal, how nice it sounds.

Again, the teams they've beaten in those last 5 matches are 11/16/18/19 in the PL. And they had to eke out 1-goal victories in all of them.

In that same time period they've been dismantled by City in their only PL game against a good team, got whooped by Newcastle in the League Cup, and lost games against Copenhagen and Galatasaray to drop to the bottom of their UCL group.

They suck. They've just picked up some results despite sucking because they moved through a ridiculously easy part of their PL schedule.

I'm seeing this 'form team of the PL' stuff everywhere. Do people actually just not pay attention to who a team is playing to get results?

I wrote it partly as banter.
So you shouldn't take it so seriously.

Mikel… Is this real?

Maguire's pass straight to the opposition under no pressure whatsoever v Macedonia, then ridiculous Boris Johnson-esque charge into the attacker from the side was one of the worst bits of defending/decision making I have ever seen...not sure how a pen was given for that.

I don't think Harry is as bad as Mustafi, but man he ain't that far off

Just biggest club in the world things.
You guys are not bigger than Madrid and Barca in fanbase globally. Trophies and good football neither Arsenal and United are in their pomp though you are further away than we are. The two Spanish giants are immense in Latin America where United is way way behind them in fan support

Arsenal Quotes
