What happened to Sanchez? His decline is remarkable, comparable to Rooney but the difference is Wayne didn’t look after himself and it caught up with him.

Started declining physically towards the end of his best season . Just little things like he had a rocket right foot that he used to unleash outside the box when he cut in that disappeared , couldn't dribble past a couple of players like he did in his first two season at Arsenal and just continued to slide . He did the opposite of Rooney ,overplayed and overtrained . Maintaining an incredibly low body fat percentage throughout doens't help either .

Or allow him to be effective at all in the EPL apparently.

Think he lost a bit of explosiveness too. He was never best on the wing but he performed to a decent level because he still had that.

His quality is still undeniable imo but play him on the wing now and all you’ve got it someone who’s gonna cut in time and time again without the pace to really get a shot off.

Don't know if these figures are true, but it is staggering

The combined cost in transfer fees and wages for Sanchez, Lukaku and Fred over a 4 year contract period is around 315M (78.5M a year)
