Really really hope that Ole has signed the ting and it just hasn’t been announced yet.

Moyes, van Gaal, 2015+ Mourinho, Ole.

Sensational stuff.

United are seriously done as a serious club if they appoint Ole. I mean LvG and Jose were reasonable appointments given their CV's. Giving the job to a cheerleader just because he had the typical new manager honeymoon period would be absolutely ridiculous. Let's hope Woodward continues the excellent job he's done so far in his attempts to completely ruin Manchester United and give Ole the job.

So what? Being successful in football is about anticipating mistakes and being clinical. It's usually what separates teams at the highest level.

I'd actually praise your result against us for those exact reasons.

Oh FFS, not you lot on this site.

There is nothing gifted by you in our game. Xhaka's was an awesome technique which bamboozled your keeper. And we did not gift you any goals. Laca earned that penalty. We controlled the game for the most parts, a much more deserved win.

Karma is a *****. Decent club and history, but horrible horrible fans. Their fans fighting among themselves , priceless.

Imagine comparing their fluke of a victory in Paris (which was actually a 3-3 draw on aggregate but whatever) gifted to them by Buffon and some terrible officiating after PSG were absolutely battering them for most of the game and 9 times out of 10 would have scored 4 or 5 in a game like that. Meanwhile we put in an excellent performance vs United, get a deserved lead and put in a tactical and defensive masterclass in the second half.

United fans have absolutely no shame at all, embarrassing that lot. Ah well, it's all coming back crashing down to earth now. Crazy how they thought the cheerleader was gonna do anything serious for them.

That can happen when you play your second best keeper in a massive game, and the gap between the two is huge. Football managers playing stupid ****ing games. They paid for it in full.

So why do some FA Cup games have VAR and some dont? Why is the FA so dodgy...

Hope the Ole hypetrain continues its derailment. Need them to hire Poch, now that Real is off the table. Less competition, the better.

We have to talk about Martial, he has tremendous talent but my god is he dumb. His movement is absolutely appalling, he only really does something when he has the ball and even then it's not guaranteed to come off. I don't think he really thinks too much about the game tactically in terms of where he should be, when he should move or make a run or really look out for the runs of other players. He's a one trick pony. Get one on one with the full-back and either get by him and cut it back, win a free/penalty or cut inside and shoot. He's the same player that was brought in by LvG. We've seen so many other wide men improve and progress during that period but Martial is just the same. I'm not even sure if he's all that bothered. Can see why Mourinho was frustrated with him. Outstanding when he's getting plenty of the ball, an absolute liability when he's not.

That's before we get into Pogba. United get an amazing win without Pogba in Paris (and without Martial btw) but lose with him vs PSG in Manchester, vs Arsenal and get knocked out by Wolves in the cup. Another guy who can perform when everything is going well, he gets a free role and everythings grand. He can showcase his talent, create chances and really run the show. When things are not going his way he ends up being a bit clueless, doesn't really help control things, doesn't really use his physical attributes enough in a defensive sense and just seems to hide. Two games in a row where United fail to get a grasp or a foothold of the game in terms of dominating the midfield battle and Pogba does absolutely **** all to help in that regard. He just seems to be waiting for the ball to come to him. It wasn't until United were 2 down that he decided to go more central and really try to make things happen, it was too late by now.

You're starting to see more and more why Mourinho had such problems with Pogba and Martial. Even Shaw had a pretty woeful performance yesterday. But hey, it was all Jose's fault, right?

Lets not write United off just yet, but it does make you wonder how long it'll take the players to 'give up' with Ole, just like they did Jose when things got tough.

I've always said it's pretty poor that they seemed to want to get Jose sacked and it showed when they brought in another manager.
