When Fergie was running United like Bayern and just bullying lesser teams into giving him the best players, they were fine with it. Now there's no doubt that their spending power is far more organic than City's. That's inarguable. I just think it's pathetic that they act like they're paupers when before Chelsea's madness this last year they were the only club in the country with a squad near as expensive as City's and the majority of them are twerking for Qatari money to do the same thing City are doing. Not just that but the Carabao Cup used to be a pathetic trinket when City kept winning it but now it's some prestigious trophy when it's all they can manage. Really a gross, hypocritical lot. Even Liverpool supporters aren't quite so disgusting.
