I'm not sure who you're disagreeing with, nobody even remotely suggested his wins were a fluke, just that the managerial skillset required to achieve what he did there might not be directly 1:1 equivalent with the skillset required to take over a United team with loads of rubbish players that need to be shipped out and replacements brought in.

I actually think that if we go close again next year but don't win anything, and the club decides to move on from Mikel, that Zidane would be perfect for us, as we actually have clearly a very good core with a good culture that is on the up, and just need help getting over the final hurdles.

Highlights the refereeing bias towards United imo. Been one of the stinkiest teams the past 3 years and their league position always seems artificial, especially when looking at their stats.

Absolutely criminal that Coventry didn’t go through yesterday. Chelsea should have had a blatant penalty vs Citeh also…

United's route:

Wigan athletic, while we were knocked out by our title rivals Liverpool
Then they played Newport county in the fourth round.
Then they played Nottingham Forest.
Then they scraped a last minute win against Liverpool.
Then bottled a 3-0 lead against Coventry and almost we t out against them .

It's been extreme luck rather than competence and they deserve to be 7-uped in the final.
