Man you feel for every rival manager but not our own

Injuries aside, Tets problems are all of his own making.

Amorim is absolved because he just got his foot in the door. He's an idiot for accepting the job, but he had no hand in United's current predicament.

Amorim wanted the job in Summer.

But this is all good for him, half a season to work on his tactics, learn from opponents and work out who he wants to bring in. It’s a free hit.

He can completely change the confidence in this team by changing the goalkeeper and striker. An experienced calm keeper will get them 5-10 points a season compared to Onana. A striker will get them 5-10 points also.

He's forcing a system that doesn't the players. I don't know how the predicament this isn't on him

It is not all on him, but yeah, he is basically pulling an Ange with this 'his style of football' and said he isn't going to change.

Ange is on the hot seat talking that way in his 2nd season with Sp**s

Amorim is managing Man U. Time isn't necessarily on his side. If next year is more of the same, he might be out the door.

I actually don't think having a style and principles is an issue; so long as your occassionally willing to adapt, make small tweaks and have the players.

Being so wedded to a "system" though, nah, for me that's something else. Way too rigid and unnecessary. Even the likes of Conte tweaked the 343 to a 352 or 433 on occasion and he's way more proven than Amorim.

Just caught the highlights of their loss yesterday. Christ they are awful, imagine building a 700m squad over 3 years and every single one of them ending up utter crap and then having to start the process all over again.

Hilarious, I remember their fans going on about how amazing and better than us they'd be after 3 years after Ten Hag's first season.

I seem to remember many AM posters saying the same

I suppose it’s because he was signed, played some U21 football for us and was loaned out to Rangers, then Sunderland then frozen out by Ten Hag. So he’s a bit of a late bloomer, kind of reminds me of Mahrez in style.

It’s a match day squad tradition rather than lineup since 1937, so maybe not as impressive as you think.

Still exists, Mainoo, Collyer, Kukonki and Rashford were on the bench that game I think. Garnacho too who I count as we won the youth cup thanks to him that season.
Remember watching him play for Rangers against Celtic and a few other Scottosh teams. He was appallling. I cant believe he is the same player at Utd now, thought he would have been long sold on.
