Some of the stuff posted in this thread.

Folks mentioning they don’t watch Arsenal games while pretending to be an Arsenal fan on an Arsenal forum. Blasphemy!
I watch all our matches but can’t say i rate the attacking part of our play. We create 3-4 chances on average and lack creativity out of midfield especially if Ode is injured.

The fact that they are just 5 points behind top 4 show how poor the Premier League is this season.

They're just on a 3 out of 4 win bounce against near certain relegation candidates. Now their fixtures will get tougher and we'll see if they can maintain their 6th place position.

Was surprised to see ETH has made a better start in his first 50 games than most managers, including Mick.

With the turmoil narrative surrounding him, wasn’t expecting that.
Really that surprising? He's done well at Ajax, no reason he couldn't be doing ok in a worse league than the Eredivisie.

Why are some posters so desperate to defend Man Utd. Thought I was on Redcafe for a moment. I get you need to be balanced sometimes and any team will have some positives along the negatives but why bend backwards just to try to show the positives. Especially as this United team is indeed crap. You can't even say that without someone saying they have an injury crisis or that we aren't much better anyway.

The injury crisis would make sense if they were flying before it struck. First game of the season at home against Wolves with fully fit squad...got played off the park and should have lost about 4-1 and escaped a blatant penalty at the end. Second game against Sp**s they again had pretty much a fully fit squad...lost 2-0. Third game, apart from one or two players missing they had everyone available...were 2-0 down and needed a red card and a dodgy pen to win 3-2 at home to Forest. Fourth game against us their starting 11 was close to full strength (they got some injuries near the end of the game)..lost 3-1. Fifth game, Brighton at home, had only 2 players missing from their strongest 11...lost 3-1

It's actually funny that injuries is stopping them from challenging for top 4 when their best run of results have come recently during this injury crisis. They dropped most of their points when they had more players available. Also Malacia being mentioned as one of the players they are missing lol. Has anyone watched him play? The bloke is so far out of his depth it is a bonus for the opposition when he is on the field. Likewise Casemiro this season has been a downright liability that I'm not sure how someone can say he would strengthen them when he returns.

Even forgetting all of that the name of this thread starts with "let's all laugh at Man Utd..". When someone is trying to do that...let them. Especially as it is so justified right now. Rant over.
Some cringey ass posts above yours. Just the usual posters wanting to have another go at Arteta and arsenal, glad this post brought the thread back.

United are awful, I’m glad they’re sneaking wins in the league now as ETH was awfully close to getting sacked. This buys him more time, and with him at the helm, they have no chance of doing anything. Granted, even with him not at the helm they’re pretty much dusted with that awful squad building.

Think people should be free to post what they want or challenge something that they don't think is true (or similar). We don't all have to support the same way or laugh at rivals in unison just because it's your pastime.

I read back on what I had written and it actually wasn't bad, it really just boils down to people who don't like what I say or the fact that I said it - which is their/your problem.

Rant away though if it helps soothe.

Allegedly the Glazer's aren't going to Sir Bobby's funeral due to "fears of being abused".

****ing cowards

They haven't done a decent thing since they took over the club, who actually expected them to start doing so now?

I said this on October 15th:

Now - the thing I don't like about United, Neville and their fans is, they'll complain, rightly, about all the things that are wrong with their club.

And then they win 3 games in a row...

Suddenly, they're challengers, they're back, all those misfit toys they call a squad are on the verge of greatness, and clouds are gone and the sun is shining.

I can see from this thread that 3 people who I have on ignore are causing a back and forth that frankly doesn’t make any sense. It’ll play out as it always does.

I can’t imagine being a fan of a club and having to caveat any and all progress because you have a dislike for someone involved. But frankly it’s expected. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I understand why our fanbase has the reputation it does - we truly are one of if not the worst collection of fans going. I love Arsenal to death and have done since my first game at Highbury at 10 years old, but I maintain - I don’t like Arsenal fans. Something about our low period has bred in many of us a weakness and a victim mentality that we can’t shake. The club and the current squad has shaken off the brittle “can’t handle a rainy day in Stoke” tag, but as a fanbase we haven’t. We’re whiners, complainers, bitter and annoying. The only thing we’re good for is to help clicks and engagement for social media and digital platforms, which is why official accounts for things like the CL or Prem post us a lot (good and bad) because they know if anybody is gonna take the bait, whether that’s flood the post with likes or flood the post with replies, it’s Arsenal fans.

That image of Wenger at Old Trafford standing on the dugout with his arms out like “where do you want me to go?! What do you want me to do?!” should be the header on this forum. Because that has become our overall collective personality as a fanbase.

Again. Love the club. Actually really like the regular matchday goers and the older, level headed fans. Outside of that, cannot stand us.

Mate we're absolutely nothing special, every fanbase is chock full of dickheads. It's not the club that lures them, it's the sport.

Farzad, shame on you. If you were a United apologist back in Fergie's days, I would get it. They were champions after all. But to twerk for this United. This laughing stock that even United fans can't bring themselves to hype. You're clearly a WUM or a United fan or both. In the words of Didier Drogba, you're an absolute disgrace.
