Do you really believe be makes them worse? Interestingly, on the CAF 70 percent of their fans don’t want him fired. They have had tons of injuries and he inherited a cr.p squad. They are not that far off considering I don’t think him staying makes them more likely to fail. Like Arteta he should not have control of transfers.

I am not saying he is best coach; but him staying probably helps them

I genuinely think had he been at Eindhoven or Feyenoord, he wouldn't have been as successful as he has.

The system set up at Ajax allowed him to thrive in spite of his weaknesses.

Also, his main issues stem from his terrible man-management & bad eye for transfer targets.

He may yet come good for United but I wouldn't bet on it.

Since he left, Ajax finished 3rd last season and are currently 8th. His Ajax side really did well in the Champions League when he was there.

They were quite lethal in taking down heavyweights like Juve & Real on their way to the semis.

Truth be told, I wanted him here before Tets was appointed. I only soured on him when he dismissed us as being run of the mill the moment he got here.

We're no City or Liverpool but we're not chopped liver either

More accurately, he and Overmars had to rebuild, together. Trouble is, he doesn't have an Overmars at United.
Yeah he made a mistake thinking he was a DOf a very stupid Mik like move by ETH

I don't think he has the power to change the setup at United, this should be something that managers typically don't need to worry about. It's just chaos until Sir Jim appoints the right people.

As you brought Mik into it, I'll say I'm very curious what the Mik-Edu relationship and power differential is. And the same at other clubs, too. Does the manager say "I want player X" and hand it off to the football director to get it done or not? Does the manager say "I want a player with profile X" and the football director goes and finds a suitable player at a suitable price point? In between, does the manager say "I want player X" and the football director comes back a bit later to say "I can get you player X, but here's five other players with a similar profile we could get cheaper and put the savings elsewhere in the transfer budget, what do you think?"

Mik has too much power at Arsenal. He should only give a position and a player profile to Edu. But that isn’t the way it works at Arsenal. It is Kroenke’s kingdom and Mik is their golden boy.

I actually think the Kai buy all the pros knew it was a bad idea as no data points favored the buy. I think Mik forced that buy, probably over objections but Mik runs show despite Edu technically being above him in a corporate chart

Supposedly United have made an inquiry about Timo Werner. So signing Mount wasn't enough, they want another Chelsea reject once removed this time. 🤣

Well they're creaming themselves saying it'll be an easy win vs Gala, away from home.

All it took was one lucky win vs Everton, Everton who should have been 3/4 goals up had it not been for some awful finishing.
