While their squad is currently sh!t it is slightly concerning that they may get it right sooner or later, given their stadium and fanbase are huge. Them being crap will only last so long, and I really hope we can have a period of dominance before they inevitably become good again.

There is absolutely nothing about this Arsenal team to admire. They’ve bored their way to what could be a historic double, it’s fecking tragic for everybody else.

I have never in my life seen this level of celebration for a semi final win. It's genuinely weird.

Arsenal are the poster child advert for "Goals win games, defences win titles".



Outside of Saka, their forward options are very, very average. Very. Gyokeres, a flat track bully, tap in merchant, who is miles off being good enough to start for a top club. Martinelli, been crap for about two years. Pace merchant. Trossard, a very tidy footballer who can be nicely effective, but the definition of a squad player for me (at a top club). Madueke, decent squad filler/rotational option. Eze, is he a midfielder or a forward? Good but not great. Another squad player at a top club. Havertz, probably the best technical forward they have, outside Saka. Wildly inconsistent.



To think that this Arsenal team, of all the Arsenal teams we have seen over the years, which has Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard, Martinelli, Eze, Havertz and Madueke as their forward options, is one that will probably win the league and compete in a CL final. Admittedly a VERY lucky draw to get to the final, but they are still there.



Just shows how vital defensive solidity is. Can take you really far, all while not having a great attack, and playing pretty woeful football. They've only scored 4 more goals than us in the league, despite being miles ahead points wise, us being completely dysfunctional under a terrible manager for over half of it. Just mad really. And I have no idea how many of their goals have come from set pieces, but I am certain that it is an absolute ton. Disproportionate to other clubs at the top of the league.



They are going to get absolutely battered in the final though. No defence is good enough to hold out against PSG or Bayern in a big game if you cede all the play and impetus to them. It would take a freak day of opposition players missing big chances etc.

How the feck do you get as lucky as Arsenal? They've played Leverkusen (4th in Bundesliga) - Sporting (3rd in Portugal) and Atletico (4th in LaLiga) and "welp - now you're in the final". Jesus
