That's why I believe they won't figure this out for a long time. They're a massive fixture in sports. They will never be allowed to walk quietly figuring themselves out. They will need to get everybody on the same page from the DoF down to the training staff. They don't seem to care about doing that at the moment with this piecemeal assembly. They can only ignore outside pressure for so long until they eventually capitulate. They will never take four, five seasons on the chin like we have figuring things out and unifying elements of the club. They will have to luck into a revamp, imo. (we lucked into ours too)

Will United reset their squad and push for a build up of young academy players pieced together with cheap squad additions for a season or two to get the wage bill right and ready to assemble with quality bigger signings? I just don't see them doing something like that. Maybe they can spend their way into a restructure. I doubt it though.

Ten Helmet got rid of some of the 'bad apples' in attitude only for his signings to be even worse in ability. Bad talent evaluation.

The Antony signing for 86+ mil is just unbelievable. lol

Amorim has to show he can judge and evaluate talent that can thrive in this league.

And that is only part of it.

He does 'need time'. But at Man U, there is no such thing.
