Expected us to get well beaten. In the end we were beaten via two set-piece goals after a fairly resilient defensive performance. So, fine.

Get Rashford out of my club please.

Lost to a team currently better than us. No drama.

Reality check

We didn't get hammered by a big side. Progress.

People very snooty about goals from corners but they still count! Also, we didn’t even win 1 corner and our only 2 chances were from free-kicks!

Corner turned

Better than I expected first half. Disgraceful second half.

Bringing Rashford and Zirkzee on is the fastest way to kill any and all intensity in any team on the planet.

Didn't get humiliated though and looked semi-competent, so that's fine, I guess.

Sooner Amorim realises we can’t be playing Bruno and Rashford the better.
Absolute liabilities in attack in big games.

We should copy that corner routine

Didn't expect a win, wasn't too bad really.

A month ago they would have had 30 shots.

Their corners are lethal but thought we could have attacked a bit more.

I’m completely ‘meh’ about the whole game. Even my Arse supporting mates don’t send me wind up messages anymore.

Stoke with money

feck off Stoke/Corner FC, such a lame way to get goals imo.

Still got a positive goal difference.

A Mourinho away performance. Pragmatic, fairly solid, as soon as we let a goal in all the points were gone because we had no attack.

This crop of players has me yearning for the days of Pogba, Martial, Mata etc who despite not being good enough, could actually control a football.

We looked decent enough for about 25-30 mins, even dominating possession for some of this time. The first half, generally was comfortable. But what was disappointing to see was the absolute lack of any attacking threat. 32 touches in the box to 6 is pretty unforgivable, as is the sheer number of corners we conceded (without getting a single one ourselves).

Arsenal will probably sign the next Rory Delap in the summer to complete their attack.

People seem content here with a 2-0 loss. Shows how far we've fallen. We never look like scoring and are horrendous from set pieces.

Pretty boring game, Arsenals set piece coach is just miles better than ours.

Arsenal = Stoke
Us = Stoke without the set pieces

A wet Wednesday night at Stoke.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a team absolutely nail the delivery on every single corner as much as Arsenal did. We had no response for it. Rest of the game was pretty subpar.

Arsenal have had our number for a few seasons now. Just as well they're a toothless pile of cnuts that will win nothing. We'll be dominant and winning major trophies long before them.

Competent 1st half but wayward 2nd.
Once Arsenal upped the tempo we struggled quite a bit for a period of time. Our composure and technical abilities came under question.

 at people moaning at Arsenal being "Stoke mk2" or Burnley. Did you watch our performance?

If Arsenal played like Stoke or Burnley, then what did we play like? Bradford '99-00 or Derby '07-08 perhaps?

Roberto Martinez calling Arsenal Stoke, haha

Arsenal are the new Wimbledon. Created feck from open play. We’ll have these cnuts

Arsenal are ****. Sat back against a team in a learning phase and relied on forcing corners to get a win. Not even good moves, pushing in the back and a lucky deflection. Piss off. Liverpool, as much as it's **** to say, are playing proper football. That's how champions play, especially in this league. They'll make this out to be a massive win, even though they couldn't lay a glove on US in open play for the first 45. ****E

We had 14 shots on goal and they created absolutely nothing other than a header from a set-piece, ironically. 'Wrecking ralf' clearly didn't watch the game, WE sat back? 😂. They were wasting time from kick off trying to grab a point.

Some of the worst set piece defending I've ever seen, we looked like scoring from almost every corner.

Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Thet got good coach unfortunately the way he didn't let us trouble them 1st half and completely took out Saka and Ødegaard was impressive.

However thier squad is average and gonna need so much time to get them back

Especially given Saka and O had been running wild over the last 3 games. They did restrict us reasonably well but fortunately created even less themselves.

They shut down Ødegaard and Saka by giving up any sort of attacking ambition themselves. They were focused on not getting embarrassed.

When they opened up a bit second half, we cooked them. Havertz really should stuck that ball away for the 3rd goal rather than trying to go near post.

Yeah this is true but he can only work with what he’s got. He does seem a lot better than the previous managers they’ve had.
