Let's all laugh at Man Utd: That’s Amorim

Good point, Ole casts the darkest juuj when he’s under pressure tbh.

The Ole cycle is a real thing. You go unbeaten against Pool and City and feel amazing as a fan.

Then you wonder why you’re miles off the champions in May. It’s because of dropping points against Southampton and Villa at home.

He’s just about good enough not to be sacked but not good enough to contend. I fear we’re in the same boat.

But surely at some point United want to actually compete, they can't keep going on like top 4 is good enough especially with nothing to show for it. Heck 81 points and 2nd under Mourinho was deemed not good enough and yet Solskjaer is there almost three years now and has not improved on that but is seen as doing a good job.

Yeah you’re 💯 right but he’s a legend and the players seem to love him.

Basically he’s very hard to fire for those reasons once you factor in them clapping City’s cheeks once a year.

when they said on the radio yesterday 'there was a bit of discussion who takes the pen' I had no idea it was Emi trying to make Ronaldo take it

There's some truth to this, we cannot afford to waste the time we have with Ronaldo at the club with nothing to show for it. This really is the last possible trump card from the Ferguson era we could possibly use.

On the Mourinho point, his peak side was built in that 17/18 season. We had a spine of very senior players such as Carrick, Valencia, Matić, Mata, Young and Fellaini who were past their best by the time the season ended and we needed to rebuild again and that was evidenced by the following season where we finished 6th in the league and then we subsequently had to rebuild with Ole.

It's really not fair to say Mourinho finished on 81 points and say we're the same now and ignore the massive crash in between from Mourinho as we had to heavily rebuild to get back here.

Crazy decision to put Ronaldo on the bench yesterday.

Ronaldo will definitely be the one who gets Ole sacked I feel....mates or not, he will want to win.

These next few seasons will probably be the last he can play at an elite level, he will want to win trophies at United...if United win nothing this season, can see Ronaldo being ambitious enough to go to the board and say... "Yeah, this ain't working for me, brother."

Expect United to have a top coach by next season.

Arsenal Quotes

I still have an interest in training and development, in the stages that make it possible for players first to acquire technique (between 7 and 12) and then to develop physically (between 12 and 16), then to deepen their mental resilience (between 17 and 19) and finally between 19 and 22 to acquire what is critical, like the roof of a house without which all the rest rots away: intelligence and motivation
