If Nuno gets £160m he'll be rubbing his hands with glee. Add some more to that and you can pretty much fill a lot of holes in that squad. But they need the cash in time to spend it.

Remember that time they got the Gareth Bale money and spent it on seven players.

Think only Eriksen turned out good.

More like Jorge Mendes will be rubbing his hands with glee. Welcome William Carvalho, Pizzi, Everton and Danilo Perreira. ;)

That 6 year deal he signed after the World Cup, it's all Kane's own fault if he doesn't end up leaving.

There is a genuine possiblity that Harry doesn't win a trophy in his career, as if he doesn't move this season I don't think anyone will want him after that

250M on Kane and Grealish is big yikes tbh. Disgusting if it happens they won't even win you the CL they are just two human beings.

If it was that deep they would have secured the Euros between them.

It is big yikes, especially as Grealish has relatively little top level experience and Kane already looks and plays like a 35 year old. But still the rewards outweigh the costs I think, not just in immediate goals and trophies but in the long-term legacy. They've won 3 of the last 4 titles, if they can keep that up over the next few years, add a CL maybe, they're cementing their reputation. Look at Utd, absolute shambles for years but they can still claw their way back to the top cos of the dominance they had decades ago.

People our age might think of City as a joke, but kids now think of them as a powerhouse. People keep underestimating City's ambition, they literally own like 10 subsidiary clubs around the world, they're playing a different game to the rest of us, spending 250m to reinforce their domestic dominance is a small price to pay.

Signing a 6 year deal was such a mistake by Kane. He tied himself to the club and now he cannot get away without starting this ****show!

Think Sp**s will accept a much lower fee for him than they expect like we did with Cesc. Having an unhappy player stinking the place out will just create further rifts within their team.

Don’t get why PSG don’t get involved if they sell MBappe.

Him and Neymar would be a mad link up. Goals and assists for days.

Kane should have known how Levy treated Modric and the refusal to sell him, despite of "gentleman" agreements.

Nevertheless this meltdown in their relationship is lovely. It would be great if it goes until deadline day and City pull out of the race.

Best case scenario they keep Kane, they are not doing anything with him anyway. They get 150m+ and that's a worry tbh, that's a llfeline (but i guess they don't back themselves to make sound decisions).

Not actually American. Unless Di Marzio says so.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that this treachery would happen to the spuds. Especially from "One of their own".
The fact that even Kane is going to these lengths to leave shows there's no sentiment in football, no point in getting attached to these guys. They do what's best for their career and they're entitled to, I won't blame Saka if he wants to go in a couple of years as well.
