They'll be out of the Conference League too if/when they forfeit that Rennes game
If they can't play, surely they have to forfeit? There's no time to play a postponed fixture in.Pretty sure Dele Alli is the original carrier. Social distance are just words for him. Are you sure they would get kicked out of the Intertoto Cup?
This is terrible situation to have but won't make sense to postpone the Brighton game because of that we were forced to play that game against Brentford when we had 4 positive cases and another members from staff.

When was this?Yeah does no one remember Villa playing their kids against Liverpool last year because their whole team got Covid?
When was this?
Last season or the end of season before. That Barry kid who was at Barcelona a while impressed
They made 10 changes to their team for a League Cup tie against a Liverpool team that played their U23's because the senior squad were at the Club World Cup. When they had an actual Covid outbreak, they had matches against Man City and Everton postponed.Last season or the end of season before. That Barry kid who was at Barcelona a while impressed

Ah yeah you're right, but that was in a different competition. In the PL you need at least 14 players available to play, anything less and it's likely to be postponed.I swear they had to run out their youth in the FA Cup against Mane and Salah?
Not the PL but that’s a dodgy precedent to ignore.

For sporting integrity reasons. It's alright in the cups but the PL won't want Brighton to get an unfair advantage over Sp**s this weekend. Why can’t the U-23’s play though?
Also doesn’t it follow the same rules as FA Cup seen as suspensions in one tournament affect the other?

I think they'll postponed because they have only 13 first team players available that's mean they'll be forced to play some of academy players against Brighton the PL love Sp**s.Yeah does no one remember Villa playing their kids against Liverpool last year because their whole team got Covid?
Terrible look if they had to play but a big 6 club gets the game postponed. When are they going to fit it in because the Burnley game has to be arranged as well?
They switched from PCR testing to lateral flow this season, so they don't know the result as quickly so it's easy to see how it can spread with people mixing and not knowing they're positive yet. What I don’t get though is how it’s spread if they’re testing daily?
If they’ve not followed protocol they shouldn’t be cancelling.

The players probably don't want daily testing especially if they're vaccinated. That seems a bit dumb. I’ve got mates who do instant pcr when they go to the office but the PL aren’t for million pounds footballers?
