92 million pounds for tonalli, wtf. We have to start buying outside the premier league, rogers cant be less than 110 based on that.

It makes me sick that because a few clubs are stupid enough to throw £100 million at average players, it affects us too. I'd love for us to just say, "We're not paying that kind of money unless we're talking about the next global superstar."
But this is the reality of the market, so we're forced to play this stupid game as well.
Let's just buy Matias Siltanen instead. He'd cost around £5 million, and we'd probably get the same average crap anyway ❤️

Prices aside, these are better names than I thought they would get, feels like De Zerbi is behind these guys.

How it works on the field is another thing.
Funny as hell that he's luring these guys to the ultimate banter club to play under him specifically knowing he's off inside 2 years like at every other job when he spits his dummy out. Like a college coach recruiting a kid knowing he's jumping ship the next year.

It kinda confirms to me that the manager is the primary driver of what attracts a player to a club. Tonali and Fernandes aren't coming to Sp**s if it were Thomas Frank calling.

Probably not though if you offer high enough wages, I think you can probably still draw players you shouldn't otherwise be able to even with an unappealing manager. I think that's probably part of this. They seem to be paying more competitive wages this summer.

Have to agree with you, they're showing ambition. They're in a **** position and doing everything they can market wise to get out of it and as expensive as some of these signings are, taking the squad at face value these are huge improvements.

Nope, do tell

I saw Sandro Tonali at a grocery store in Newcastle a few weeks back. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Tonali is from Brescia. De Zerbi is also from there and him and his dad were apparently ultras growin up.

Club is in dire straits now with outstanding bills of 3M. From the 100M transfer fee guess how much Brescia receive as a development payment?

I dunno man I think I'm buying @JMB story of Tonali's supermarket assistant Milky Way harassment over this 1

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
