Mate, let's all laugh at Tottenham!

If Tottenham win the CL they'll become a bigger club than us. Better stadium, better team and soon they'll probably even get better sponsorhip deals and be more attractive to players. It's amazing what one top class manager can do for a club.

You're forgetting the fact that we have 11 more league titles than them and a proper "brand" no matter how **** and on the wane that is now.

Seeing more reports about poch wanting more backing and he’d consider leaving even if they win CL. I have a feeling he will be gone at the end of the season wether it be on a high note or not

At some point they have to start paying higher wages. They won't get discount deals from top players forever. They have done very well for themselves but the stadium is just built, lot of debt and the team is good for now but sooner or later they will need to replace their key players. They still have a lot of challenges ahead of them but so do we

Crazy how some of the players are happy playing for half the wages they’d get somewhere else and not winning anything. I’m confident pool will beat them rather comfortably

They've bought lot of those players pretty young and lot of 'em have had their breakthrough with Sp**s. In that situation the wage management is a bit easier. It worked for awhile for Arsenal as well but the moment you buy your first ready made star, and Sp**s will need to dip into the high end market at some point, you have to pay those stars market wages. And once one player starts to get market wage, others will soon follow.

They are hilarious. They ride their luck to a once in a lifetime appearance in a European Final and then Sp**s it up by playing that crocked mouth breather instead of the players that got them there. Go down a goal a minute into the game and wait 70 to start attacking. Absolute joke club. Only Tottenham could be the loser of the most boring Final in CL history. Lovely stuff.

An epically boring final. Nice to see Spuds lose and score zero goals! Think they had one decent shot all game. Long may it be remembered!
Biggest night in their history and they do that. Pitiful but predictable.

This was a bigger fluke than Chelsea 12, luckily Liverpool saved us all.. They were awful in the league too, losing 10+ games and only got top 4 because the others were even worse..

Anyone who thinks Sp**s are far ahead of us needs to get their heads checked.. Without significant strengthening of the squad they’ll struggle next season.

Pochettino is a good manager, but not a WC one. Instead of picking the best team available (Llorente and Lucas should have started), he decided to go with the big names yesterday: Kane was out of his depth and so was Alli, Eriksen and Son.

Our past three seasons mean we should reserve laughter until and unless we actually recover our superiority over them.

We are behind them and this is not an opinion, it is a fact based on three years of results.
It’s pretty inarguable at this point. 3 years above us in the league, CL final loss vs EL final drubbing, etc. All we’ve got over them currently is the nebulous “still a bigger club” claim.
