• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

Their loss today is great news for us, not for the obvious reasons but because that corner setup is basically the Ben White special.

Always getting in your digs at Arteta arent you?

The “Ben White special” has been used against us as well this season. ;)

Can’t be right. I was sure it was just us that pressured opposition keepers at corners 🤔

Its a problem that we are all exploiting at the moment.

If you think back to West Ham and Luton (these two come to mind), you see this tactic being used against us.

Thought Vicario was fouled, and I thought that goal in the opening minutes was onside. Its these poor decisions that arent being reviewed enough IMO.

Nah I’m cool with it, don’t think it was a foul. Keepers get way too much protection imo

Maddison is such an immature bell end, comes across as a right arrogant tw*t.

Seems he needs to be the main character, strange behaviour.

Still a good player though and stays out of trouble. And at the end of the day that's really what they need from him.

They're on a roll. Good vibes and if Ange gets CL in his first season with exciting football and improving already-discarded players like Bissouma, Richarlison, Saar, Udogie, etc. it's going to be bad look for half of AM.

Not really.

They are finally becoming a modern team after thinking they have arrived with Conte. Now its a question of whether they can sustain their return, if they do return.

You'd expect Liverpool to stick around the CL spots despite Klopp's departure. You expect Villa to build on this season. And ignoring Chelsea, Newcastle and United for a minute, that is still 5 teams going into 4 places.

Lets see how they do.

Not really what? Them getting top 4? It's a big IF but so far they look like the top contender for 4th.

Not really something I'd be bothered about to be honest. I think a good number of AM too.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
