imo, most Aussies that follow "soccah" are a bit deluded as it relates to Ange. You don't lose 22 games in the Premier League and escape with your job intact, regardless of winning a trophy imo. I don't think people realize the scale of how bad this season was.

Its all Daniel Phillip Levy and the culture he has created. CL money through league position is definitely the priority over trophies.

Every manager who puts Sp**s in a poor leaugue position is sacked independent of their efforts in other comps - poch was sacked after making CL final in the next season when 14th (even though he didnt have a transfer for over 500 days), ange after Europa win and maureen didnt even get a chance to win the Carabao cup final he qualified for - he was sacked days prior because of league position.

Tbh, a bundesliga might be a more prestigious trophy than Europa league (i dunno) but I reckon Kane would have gotten far more joy and established a greater legacy in winning the Europa league with Sp**s than the Bundesliga with Bayern.
