Kulu, Solanke and Maddison is like us missing Noni, Kai and Ode. So far we've found a way to manage. Thomas Frank said that he's never managed a team that created so little-they couldn't even create a threat with a throw-in.
To be honest their attacking quality is poor overall there no consistent performer or difference maker

Again they build massive ego because of that EL trophy. Hopefully they continue being like this

Having an ego over winning that 2nd-tier comp is a prime example of why they're so small-time. Look at Palace, they won the FA Cup and are pushing for more success. Then, north of the river, Sp**s players got comfortable and now behave like they've completed football.

Yeah, they've signed a bunch of guys who had 'big years' for mid-table teams to up their value but on balance are basically just mid-table players. Solanke, Johnson, Richarlison, Kudus, etc.

Their starters are similar to our backups and it isn't like we're Madrid or PSG in an attacking sense.

@A_G didn't understand why I didn't want Sp**s to win at the weekend when this is how they move after beating one pf the worst teams in the CL:

Could you imagine if they had won at the weekend? Completely insufferable. No, unless it helps Arsenal (which this season means taking points of Liverpool and City in the league) then a Sp**s loss is always the preferred result.

I actually think it's quite endearing when little football clubs have something to celebrate because they can't do anything meaningful in actual competitions where they're thoroughly outmatched by clubs of greater stature & pedigree. It's the little things that truly matter in life...

United will probably beat them on saturday, this win against danish farmers is as good as winning the UCL for that lot, like you say they have to take the maximum amount of joy from the smallest crumbs of 'success' because deep down they know that's as good as it will ever get for them.

I am pretty certain he is playing a character, but even then it's still feels weird to simp that hard for players that are younger than you.

Man's in his 30s, and simping for a guy in Palmer in his 20s...the football equivalent of needing an interview from Chris Hansen imo, lol.

My brother is doing the whole Van de Ven best CB in world; the guy can’t play half a season and gets done a lot; very good Cb but he doesn’t even start at Arsenal so I don’t know how he is Maldini and Socrates combined all of sudden. He usually is pretty balanced and cynical about Sp.rs but Van De Ven hot streak got them all talking nonsense again
