Simeone (a) isn’t leaving Atletico; (b) wouldn’t suit our club; (c) doesn’t speak a word of English and has given up learning; and (d) would be incredibly expensive.

Just not happening.

Just the other day I ran across an article from Fox Sports listing the highest-paid managers in football for this season:

#1. Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) – £35.9m per season

#5. Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham Hotspur) – £8.5m per season

#9. Unai Emery (Arsenal) – £6m per season

Apparently Tuchel is struggling a bit with PSG, that’s the only club right now I think I’m worried about with Pochettino.

Zidane has Real Madrid flying again, Ole looks safe. Poch won’t go to Barca and Bayern won’t hire him.

Can’t see him going to Napoli, board has to make this happen.

watch carlo get sacked because they dropped points again and our board to go for him and ignore poch

none of the boIded are coming here mid season get reaIistic ffs
u might not want Ancelotti but Arteta/Vieira is wrse,
worse is an understatement...could get relegated with chancers like arteta & vieira
this is why we ended up with Ijunberg instead of mourinho, deIusionaI arsenaI fans dreaming about aIIegri who aIready rejected us, carIo onIy top manager avaiIbIe, get before everton do
How do you know wether or not Ancelotti, Allegri, Jardim (if the board buys out his clausul) or Simeone (he`s under pressure at Atletico) are not available mid season?

Rose to Arsenal pops up again. Ideally this should be our man if Freddie getsets hisbhis **** together. Also got a result against Bayern today

I think its Freddie till the end of the season.

Will have to see whose available in the summer as no guarantee that most of these names will be available.

With Monchengladbach sitting atop the Bundesliga table and fighting for a title, it's hard to see this happening even in the summer.

If we can't get Poch someone like him is exactly what we need (and what we needed when Arsène left) it's just a shame we've made so many mistakes to the point where we probably can't wait for him in the summer.

Are there any mid-level coaches (without a job) that would be willing to come on a short term contract till the end of the season?

Freddie's probably out of his depth but we may need to wait till summer and yet still need to at least ensure EL football for next season or maybe even win a cup.

What a pickle
