The fans are going to turn on Arteta, make no mistake about that.

We need to hold firm over the next three years or so, I think our pressure needs to be directed at the board as they are the ones who can seriously derail a proper rebuilding of this club on the pitch. Its as soon as the next transfer window where we need to be making noise.

Yeah, it's what Arsenal fans do. But maybe with things being such a mess now a little gradual improvement will keep things from getting too crazy.

They're here to stay, unfortunate as that is.

People keep saying we’ve only just interviewed Arteta last night. If that was the case the other fellas would of been there. That was a contract talk. A signing. Tomorrow we move.

And the heir apparent in Munchen.

Rose however is a loss, I cannot get over that one. He is human as Gladbach lost yesterday but my analysis has shown an absolutely track record so far. More impressive than Fonseca and even Jardim to me.

Yep, Rose is fantastic. Of course he's spent most of his days at Red Bull, but he's still won everything at youth level there is, even the U19 CL. Then went on to win it at senior level with Salzburg, now he's doing great work at Gladbach who for all their quality still desperatly lack one or two difference makers. Don't have to talk about Nagelsmann really. Both could go on to emulate the Klopp-Dortmund era at their current clubs and Nagelsmann is the future Bayern manager.

Still think guys like Fonseca, Stephan are worth a punt/keeping an eye on them. Guess down the line Vieira might develop his brand of football more, too. Also think Marsch shouldn't be looked at too harshly for being American, he's actually another Red Bull/Rangnick alumni just like Rose and Nagelsmann and Salzburg play some decent stuff and did well in the CL. Another guy worth keeping an eye on is Italian-German Roberto D'Aversa who is working miracles at Parma, getting them serial promotions from Serie C to Serie A from 16/17 to 17/18, kept them up in 18/19 and now has them sitting in 7th - and he rejuvenated Gervinho. Also heard good things about their DoF Daniele Faggiano.

Gerrard at Rangers.

Factually you are correct.

In reality though, this is a completely different kettle of fish altogether. It could turn out to be a masterstroke (ala Zidane or Pep) but our situation is far far more dire than any of these appointments made.

This is a monumental gamble, with results probably only expected in five years time.

Just thinking about the backlash if both clubs got new managers and Arteta lost to Ancelotti.
