The Arteta effect.
It actually gets older by the second.
actually agree with him here, there's reason to be optimistic about the type of job Arteta can do
Feel like he's earned himself an interview!
Knows the club, knows the league, knows what the type of football the fans expect. This alone can make Arteta a success.
I'd much rather this than a decorated manager with no knowledge of the above.
I mean he's spent the last 3 years studying Arsenal as an opposition at least twice a year so surely counts for something right?
Yup finally someone with a bit of sense , instead of this uncoacheable rubbish .
Why does anyone think that an owner with no ambition would be interested in hiring expensive experienced coaches who would expect the club to show ambition?
Well said. But state of his hair
It got old the when it was revealed the release clause was actually met and Liverpool just ignored it in a blatant breach of his contract.
That was more or less the argument presented by Benitez as well. Low work rate off the ball resulting in a too stretched team when the defenders fall off.
Not a lot of studying required, considering the team we have had these last 3 years...
“Just relax Pep...they will beat themselves really”
Bloody good hair them Spanish chaps...
I don’t think so, most footballers are pretty undeveloped, most of them are all in on football since a young age. They need good coaching.
I dont understand why people think that the owner doesn't show ambition because he doesn't throw billions at the problem?
Jurgen Klopp since 2015 -
Net spend - £67M
33 players bought - £394M
31 players sold - £327M
Arsenal since 2015 -
Net spend - £279M
23 players bought - £490M
22 players sold - £211M
Anyone who says we lack ambition because of the owners please expand on your point, because from my point of view the Wenger era just spent money incredibly badly and sold/contract renewed in a shocking manor as well.
Barber: What do you want?
McClaren: I like the brazilian Ronaldo and Sven-Göran Eriksson
Barber: Say no more
Am I the only one excited by Arteta? I think its a risk worth doing cause his potential is huge!
Based on what? well, nothing... just a feeling...
Arteta's appointment has to go hand in hand with real action from the board and the club decision makers.
If we continue as we are at the top, then this is going to be a massive failure. Arteta is not our saviour, he is a man with great potential and great ideas but zero managerial experience and would need proper support.
Never understood the hype of their hair. Just black hair with some fkn gel. Looks slimey as fk. Boring schoolboy haircut.
Nothing to see there.
This is great hair? Is everyone bald here?
