Messi destroying them 5 goals and an assist in 2.5 matches. Wow seeing a world class player being played by mud level pros you can really see the difference. He could of had 3 or 4 hit the post as well.

When you guys wake up in the morning, catch the highlights of Dallas vs Miami game. These own goals are pure comedy. Micky Mouse league.

And the free kick from Messi to level the game. 🔥🔥🔥

Is this true? 70% conversion in MLS so far?

The league is better much better. I was super excited for it when it came out having a domestic league where i lived. But no joke back then it was glorified college soccer with plumbers. Forget about Pl; most of Mls was Division 3 or 4 quality.

Here i will stand up for league it is much better. It was really unwatchable and i gave up for 15years. Now i bought season pass for Messi and the other matches are entertaining. It is a top 15 league talent and level of play wise worldwide. Can’t be snobby it is a slightly above average league most of world football watches leagues as bad or worse. The games are entertaining and i like how they are building a big grass roots league giving towns with no chance of an nfl or mlb team like Austin or San Jose teams

7 goals and created a couple more goals and a penalty he gave to teammate. In 3.5 matches, 2 goals a game and creating it is like watching 2009 Messi lol. More importantly as soon as Messi and the Barca boys Busquets and Alva showed up a team with 9 straight losses has won 4 straight matches including against a big Mexican club and could win a domestic and regional knockout cup.

Imagine Messi destroying mid and lower level championship sides in opposition. Not even like the big boys, big Championship teams would rough up Mls

I went to a Portland Timbers game like 6 or 7 years ago when they played a brand new Orlando team. The Orlando team had Kaka but I did not know this at the time of attending the game. I pretty much watched him in awe the entire match wondering who this guy was as nobody could touch him. He wasn't out running anybody in fact he looked kinda sluggish but nobody could get near him and get the ball away from him. He was pulling strings for the majority of the game. During the game, I had to look up Orlando's roster and saw him on there and I was like now this makes perfect sense.

It has improved quite a bit and the talent that is coming through has been a nice surprise for me. Hopefully, this Apple TV deal adds more money to the pool so it can grow even faster as I was thinking maybe another 10 years and it will be a very solid league. Apple money could accelerate that growth, imo.

The apple deal will be a big financial platform. Apple has no international programming and they can’t take off globally like Amazon and Netflix without more international content. The only thing that could jeopardize Messi taking league to next level is injury or the billion dollars Saudi will offer him.

But the league isn’t that bad. I watched Iranian league live and on TV and those guys are awful. Most world league’s not as good in level, less money, and terrible facilities. Still even those crap leagues their players make good money and they pack stadiums. Mls probably top 15-20 league globally. Mexican league better still though. Brazil and Argie league way better than Mexico and mls

Goalkeeping in MLS is below the standard of even the outfield players and Messi has already figured that out. Look at the first goal Miami scored ffs

This actually the Jamaica first choice keeper so he's not normally this bad but I think intimidated by the GOAT
Honestly goalkeeping outside of the PL, La Liga and Bundesliga is shocking. I always feel like I see similarly poor keeping in Serie A and Ligue 1 as well let alone MLS and Saudi.

Does anyone care Ronaldo is scoring lots of goals and making lots of money in Saudi? Messi is building his legend in the rich American market. He is already in the final of the Nations league against Monterrey of Mexico. They were the worst team in league still could win multiple trophies because of Messi. Literally every Miami player running and playing at a level above because every guy is running for the GOAT as well

All these games are the league cup right? Does it count for MLS?
No separate competition they are still in last with just 12 matches till playoff cut. This is single elimination competition with Mexican League teams. But a bit unfair as all matches are home games for Americans because competition makes so much more per ticket in dollars as opposed to Pesos. For Monterrey to win they have to win every game on road. Cash trumping competitive fairness but good matches so far; despite Yanks typically putting thumbs on scale
