Guy was banging drums at some point then I saw him lifting the trophy?

Lol????

"Only winners, world leaders and Messi's sister Aguero can touch the World Cup itself"

...FIFA gonna have to change the rules to this now

Kinda ridiculous that he needed to win the World Cup to remove any doubts?

It’s a comp where it really is luck of the draw so I never weighed it that heavily against him, but atleast he has it now.

Curious where he goes now as I’d be surprised if he stays at PSG beyond this season. I could imagine his motivation taking a nose dive.

Probably MLS for some silly money.

But Saudi Arabia could also be an option with having Messi and Ronaldo in their league.

I would retire immediately if I was him, how to you have any motivation to play after that game!?

35, won the last trophy he needed (in a match he lost in twice but somehow won it three times!) would be THE BEST way to go out

Honestly going to be seriously impossible to have player as consistent as him in near future.

Mbappe might be the guy to be the next Messi but again i find it impossible.

Glad i was young to witness i still remember his debut i think was in 2005 i was 15 and this guy came on late 2nd half and i was laughing at him because he was ugly and short silly me he shut me up in like 5 minutes and scores in his debut.

Yeah right. Guy’s played over 1000 games and it shouldn’t really come down to one tournament making the difference.

I mean, does he need money? If he wanted to go to a weaker league, it's best he just goes back to Argentina.

Newells is his team right? Even if he doesn't want to go there, might as well try and link up with one of the big three.

Also winning world cup or not this guy with Ronaldo are the best players we seen they consistently good they been ridiculous consistent 40 or more goals a season its unreal i seriously can't believe what i was witnessing but Messi just won the debate at the end because first he more classy guy and he won every trophy possible still not taking anything from Ronaldo despite his cringy fanbase.

I don’t hold Ronaldo missing the Euro final or never winning a World Cup against him.

For me he just wasn’t as good as Messi when I watched them play.
Just similar with Mbappe and Haaland now when i watch Mbappe he can do everything when I watch Haaland he just goal scorer he don't do the things Mbappe does during the game.

Arsenal Quotes

The coach's role is to make the player understand everything that serves the interest of the game. To do this he must speak to the child within each player, to the adolescent he was and the adult he is now. Too often a coach tends only to speak to the adult, issuing commands for performance, for victory, for reflection, to the detriment of the child who is playing for pleasure, living in the present.
