It does feel like 32 is the new 29 for athletes that look after their body. Mane did drop off a cliff, so perhaps that is what is giving Liverpool pause, but sometimes clubs need to show just a little loyalty to their legends.

I think big salary playing part too guys like Salah who not had big injury can still play top level until 35 but clubs now not taking risk on 30+ plus players when they earn big salary.

I think at this point, we should support Man City on Sunday. They will keep dropping points and Liverpool need to lose points if we want to get back to the top and cut down the gap that they have with us. Man City without Rodri in this form, they will drop more points for sure. Liverpool are our main target now and we need them dropping points soon.
