What's the translation there Hawk?

Pretty close to be fair but, generally, we use أغبياء as plural for idiots.

The title uses حمقى which is plural for imbeciles.

The first would land you in hot water when said to strangers. The second could be grounds for jihad if the recipient is the tempermental sort

I listen to Karl Pilkington everyday! My personal hero

Too bad Gervais is a grade A knob though

The old xfm radio shows is even better than ricky Gervais show if you haven’t heard them!

Can they be found online?

In Moroccan Arabic that translates more to insane than imbecile. Although tbf who knows what those weird Egyptians make of it anyway.

A movie I'd be willing to finance

Curious to know, Jonesy, how often do you run into the Pharaoh's get where you live?

Yeah Spotify! Search for “xfm” and they should pop up. It’s the radio show merchant and Gervais hosted 1999-2004 where Karl was a producer, and they discovered him
Incredibly entertaining and has me in stitches, find them a bit more genuine than the podcasts!

There are a lot of them here, not as many as my compatriots but still plenty. The mosque I used to go to for a time in my youth was predominantly Egyptian.

Yeah because Caicedo turned them down. They tried to spend 100m on him and think we forgot.
He is quite funny when it comes to this subject. After Man Utd signed Pogba for then a world record fee of £89m he said this.

"If you bring one player in for £100m and he gets injured, then it all goes through the chimney,' he said. The day that this is football, I'm not in a job anymore, because the game is about playing together."

Not long after this they got Van Dijk for then a world record fee for a defender of £75m. Soon after they got Alison for then another record fee for GK of £67m.

Yet whenever he talks about spending, the guy talks like he is Wenger mk2.

Good on Jack. The thing the car spitter is missing is that Arsène opened the door for the likes of Pep and Klopp. He's the first continental manager to show he could come in and play real football while winning things. Fergie was copying him while competing with him.

Until the stadium debt became an issue, Arsène and Fergie were toe to toe, 3 us, 4 for them in that initial 7 years. He was competing with Fergie's financial advantage with diet, fitness and better recruitment. Klopp has competed with Pep's financial doping with actual doping and the extreme good fortune of the CL final he won being against Tottenham and not Barcelona.

Speaking of Barcelona, were it not for their extreme stupidity paying all that money for Coutinho, Klopp would never have had the means to complete that squad. He was a good manager but he was also very lucky and did absolutely nothing against proper teams in European finals. Arsène is miles clear.

His bald boyfriend Pep was moaning about money in football at Barca asking why people didn't just use the academy and now he's the biggest sugar baby in the history of the sport. These men have zero shame.

I think 4th will be a good season for them next season.

If he achieves that it will be very impressive indeed. Their players are not goof enough to challenge for the title. Coupled with the fact that one of their greatest ever manager just left them.

Future depends on what guys like Trent do. I like a few of Utd’s youngsters so could conceivably see them swap places.

No Klopp or Trent and a declining Salah and Alisson with a load of flops like Nunez and Gakpo could be tough for them.

Salah is almost certainly gone. Diaz being linked away a lot too.

I like Elliot and what I’ve seen of Gravenberch, Bradley and even Kelleher.

Rest of that team outside Trent, Salah, VVD and Alisson is incredibly mid and those four will be gone very soon imo.

They have some other good players like Mac Allister and Jota, but I can easily see them finishing outside top 4 next season.

Not fully there with Jota is all round play seems **** to me and he’s a constant crock.

Yeah MacAllister is fine I guess. Don’t think he’s enough in the present to carry them but decent complimentary piece.

I really rate Jota, but yeah he is injury prone.

Arsenal Quotes

"Arsenal come streaming forward now in surely what will be their last attack.

A good ball by Dixon, finding Smith for Thomas, charging through the midfield... It's up for grabs now! Thomas! Right at the end!

What an unbelievable climax to the League season"

Brian Moore on the Thomas' winning goal at Anfield in 1989
