As much as I am impressed with Liverpool's window, I feel like it is way too much change in one window to be flat out front runners...even if they get Isak. Slot inherited a team that has a year or 2 to gel. This squad will also require time.

Newcastle should really not let Isak go. 3 years on his deal and with the summer they’ve had it would be terrible from an optics perspective especially as Liverpool took Hugo from them

I am aware and that’s the scary thing. Again putting trust in Arteta in his forward players. He hasn’t got a good track record in picking the right players.

Rodrygo needs to realize that he will be a bench player next season. Alonso doens't use wingers in is prefered tactic and even if he use a tactic to suit his players, he would be 3rd choice. I think he will be stubborn enough to wait till winter although the writing are already on the wall.
