• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

It's fair to say that Slot sold Diaz because he wanted to give more game time to Gakpo who was not Klopp's favorite.

I think Liverpool biggest mistake was to bring back Michael Edwards. He thought he could replicate the rebuild process with Klopp. But he has significantly overspent last summer. I agree with Klopp that once someone left, it should be over; no more return

I would so much like to say my opinion about the whole Jota thing, but I know it is such a sensitive topic, so it is better to keep my mouth shut.
Jota was a colleague within a workforce, and while it’s normal for people to feel shocked and sad when someone passes away, those emotions naturally fade with time. In most workplaces, people don’t suddenly become unable to do their jobs long-term because a colleague has died.

That’s why it feels like the club / media is using this narrative to distract from their own failures of a poor transfer window and their reluctance to replace the squad with adequate signings.

Spending €240m on two similar-type strikers, and another €170m on two system players whose strengths the coach doesn’t even know how to utilize. The team is not in balance and it is not Jota's fault.

What other club in the country gets a full on impromptu propaganda segment from the leagues broadcaster to explain why their 500m summer has been such a disaster to this point?
