And that's weird since the toxicity was triggered by the fact that we failed to win the big trophies. Well, we are not winning the big trophies under Mikel Arteta either so it should be toxic now aswell. But the atmosphere isn't toxic, its not even slightly irritated and thats because a lot of fans support the manager rather than the club. We have won nothing since the Covid year with Arteta in charge and that should make the fans incredibly frustrated but there is an absurd amount of patience for a guy with a nothing CV and thats bizarre.
No. The toxicity was triggered by the fact that the team was INCONSISTENT. Klopp himself said this about his Liverpool team. You can't challenge for trophies without your team playing consistently at the top level, week in, week out. You'd lose games yes but you need to see a pattern of behaviour from your players. We didn't have that under Wenger's final years and Emery.

I remember that I've read somewhere that it's common for Liverpool players throughout the years to live in Manchester instead of Liverpool. I'm not sure if it's true, though, but maybe someone else can confirm or deny this?

Sort of.

Most City, Utd and Liverpool players traditionally live in the Golden Triangle in Cheshire which is a bunch of super affluent villages essentially.

Lot of players also have a city centre apartment as well which they occasionally stay in.

Rafa spot on here, Liverpool's just don't have the pull they think they do.
Same with United. Part of the reason they over pay for dross is because you got to bribe a continental from France, Spain, or Italy to go to Manchester. I am convinced after looking at Garnacho’s teeth that it might have to do with a lack of proper dental care in the greater Manchester area. London is different a much easier sell. City are immune to this to a certain extent because they got the money to pay huge wages, plus they have promise of working with Pep and filling their boots with trophies.

I told AM we should hire this guy a year ago. In CL Feyenord played gorgeous football on pennies. Feck me, those damn scousers get all the luck with managers.

Ps when everyone told me Arnie who? The only one who backed me was the Bishop of Brum @Rasmi

Klopp left him with a good squad.

It is still early, but they look okay. A Toney-less Brentford is probably the best team they've played thus far.

They sold players, but their midfield depth is thin like ours.

We'll see how they look as the season progresses.

Really interesting. Basically takes credit for all of Liverpool’s successes and swears he begged the board not to sign the failures.

Repeatedly buried Brendon, only halfway though so I’m yet to see the Klopp half. I’d love an Arsenal version of this though.

We've gone from 5th/8th to 2nd but ducks aren't known to have a rational mind, so explains why you're dense as a duck.

Unfortunately, Arne Slot knows what he's doing and he's a pretty nice guy with a lot of time to talk tactics to the media. For a bald.

I guess you stll want him as manager in Arsenal.
What is obvious is that they can't break compact low block.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsenal are the most beautiful club in England. At Man City and Chelsea, they will never have that class and style.
