We only play them twice a year in PL. As long as they are not winning 38 games, we still have the chance.

While their attack is potent is to be respected.

I just don't think we should look at our team as the old whipping Boys of the league anymore.

We have been playing Pool pretty hard the last few years and don't think our players fear them like we may have when fielding a back line of Mustafi and Kosh.

That being said the rest of league love to play into the elite attack narrative of top sides like city.

Two years ago every team in league was ready to bend and spread for City and last year Salah caught fire early and the league was just in awe until at least March.

Annoying but that's the positive of having a set of attacking players the opposition media legitimately fears. Hell Son and Kane almost did it for the **** stains. Thank God they spursed it up.

And lets not hype up Isak as if he is the second coming of Messi or Ronaldo. He is good, but he is not ballon d'or kind of player yet.

But still.. we need an elite LW in order to rival Liverpool.

How much in the hell are we paying to our academy nobodies?
Quansah 2 seasons ago played 17 league games for Liverpool and had a breakthrough and Liverpool extended him in October for 30k a week. That would never happen at arsenal

Also our loaning system is absolutely crap. Yet we still persist with it.

I swear this club is ran like a midtable one.

If Liverpool are getting Isak, they're going to have a frightening attack. They won't be slowing down.

On the other hand we are looking stale as old bread. I'm worried that if we don't do something great this season, we're going to have to rebuild and we'll see the likes of Saliba leave. The merrygo round will continue.

Really hope we can sign a world class lwf and a proper attacking lb. This inversion bullshit doesn't work.

Saliba and Saka are signing new contract they ain't going nowhere also we don't need to rebuild our squad is pretty young. if we not doing anything this season there will be one change and it's the manager that if Kroenke decide to let him go.

Am I the only person who thinks Isak for Liverpool would not be good move for them costing well over 100 mill....3 non penalty goals last 17 league games, was it just purple patch before hopefully not to be seen again ?

You are aware that we held talks with Rodrygo’s people before we got Madueke and seemingly decided not to progress? (Presumably because of his demands, but also copium: because we think his demands might come down as the window starts to close)
Unless Liverpool decide to come in for Rodrygo, I can see him leaving on a loan with obligation late in the window. It seems likely he will wait to see what happens at the start of the season.

The links to Sp**s made me laugh though. No way Levy is sanctioning £250-300k wages!

Nunez is another bullet we've dodged over the years. Just getting his wages off the books would be a win for Liverpool.
Think Sesko will be the same. I was high on his potential for a while, but now I don't think he has what it takes to succeed at this level.

It's either everyone eats humble pie on this guy or he's Mario Gomez 2.0.

If we do eat humble pie on him the usual suspects will avoid the topic and focus more on their next point of contention cuz they never happy.

My nuclear hot take for next season is that Wirtz will flop. I don't have anything backing that up besides pure gut feeling along with that statistically in the PL £100m+ transfers flop more often than they do not.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
