We have two more seasons of Saliba after this one then he’s going there on a free.
Liverpool will be a threat this season. Slot has them playing at a much slower tempo and with control much like ourselves and City but at the same time they have the players and years of training to play fast transition football. So they have a double threat.
They also completely revamped their midfield last season and still picked up 80+ points so you’d think they would be in an even better place this year. For Salah, Trent and van Dijk it’s also their last hurrah so will want to go out with a bang.

They're nothing special. They've just had a very easy schedule and relatively few injuries. Ødegaard and Saliba available for us makes it a comfortable 3-4 nil with Raya totally untroubled. I think City are going to batter them and they'll surely drop points to the peskier teams that can string a pass together and defend in a respectable shape. I'd be shocked if they finish within 6 points of us when the season is over.

Their fans thought they were superior to us the past two seasons also, believe it or not. I remember the club fell apart with a single injury to vvd not so long ago. Reverse the injury situation yesterday and we beat them 5-0.
