There's still the Chelsea game on the 1st of August. A good deal of players were involved in these two games over the course of two days, so he'll probably get minutes then.
By the same logic you could say that Cech is off, too, since he only played a half against Atletico and didn't feature at all today.

Not really the same. There’s three keepers trying to get time in one position. Perez can play in three or four positions. I think it’s telling he preferred to give Nelson and Nketiah minutes rather than Perez.
