Davinson Sanchez another highly rated youth player who was signed relatively straightforwardly by Sp**s, did anyone battle Liverpool for Salah, Mane and Firmino?

Can’t immediately count ourselves out of the fight because of some big rivals, there’s a lot of players out there and while money might talk, ambition shouts.

We've missed out on players such as Mane, Kante, Arnotivic, Zaha, Alli from within the English leagues. The likes s of Vardy and Mahrez were there for the taking as well. Sane was the main target of Bayern Munich, a bigger club than City, but City had more money - simple as that.

Well entitled to your opinion but I feel Danny offers more. Big game mentality. Cool head. Absolute workhorse which will do wonders for Emery's game in finals and tight away games.
