Say what?

Of course they're not as risky, but you need the money to be able to make that investment. The rich get richer and all that.

We're not signing Holding instead of Stones because we think he's better. Trust me.
Shouldn’t have bloody signed him at all.

Right mate. It doesn't take a genius to sign any of the players City have signed.

All of them very highly rated before signing for them. Money talks.
True but did you hear about them being deadlocked in transfer battles?

There’s highly rated players and then there’s guys like Hazard, Cesc and most recently Mbappé who have all of Europe sniffing around them.

Gabriel Jesus was passed on by Barca and signed by City with relatively no competition, in fact this extends to Sane and even Sterling to an extent. Davinson Sanchez another highly rated youth player who was signed relatively straightforwardly by Sp**s, did anyone battle Liverpool for Salah, Mane and Firmino?

Can’t immediately count ourselves out of the fight because of some big rivals, there’s a lot of players out there and while money might talk, ambition shouts.

Everyone picks and chooses their battles. City can get involved in more than we can but the annoying thing is once City or another financially strong club start sniffing around we generally **** the bed. Sterling was one. Kante another. Wengers comments on him see where he ended upo_O

All within reach but we just as mentioned **** the bed. And at some point we have to take these teams head on.

Speaking of Brazilians remember when Ganso was at our training ground and we all got excited convinced he was signing

We've missed out on players such as Mane, Kante, Arnotivic, Zaha, Alli from within the English leagues. The likes s of Vardy and Mahrez were there for the taking as well. Not to mention the likes of Davidson Sanchez. The no money thing is bollocks. Ousmane Dembele going for a paltry sum to Dortmund is unforgivable.
Apparently we passed up on Dembele because of Iwobi. I hope it isn't true

Sterling was the next big thing back then and considered by almost any top club. Besides the 60m + City paid have been absolutely crazy back then for such a young kiddo.

Sane was the main target of Bayern Munich, a bigger club than City, but City had more money - simple as that.
Don't see City signing any player who anyone wasn't aware of to be honest.

They paid 50 for Sterling.

Also I didn’t say what you said in your last sentence.

Ganso touted as the next big thing at one point. Must be getting on now and pushing/over 30?

As for Perez I just hope we can get a decent fee considering how much we paid to sign him.
