I'm not sure Torreira is a starter for Uruguay? He wasn't in the world cup iirc

Alright, i imagine the midfield being pretty tidy with him and Bentancur

Rumors aside, I fear for his fitness the coming season.
Needs a break after Copa. Ideally we would not play him first month of the season until he gets fully fit and rested, but it won't happen.
fear is not the injury only, but poor form getting him and taking his confidence down, and our results

Makes a difference from "Xhaka sucks because of everyone else" which is all you hear banded about these days

Granit Xhaka is ten times the player. Carried this little bum throughout the season.

Two bums carried by a curly 19 year old French boy.

This better not happen and his value is 60m. Non-starter. Can see him being brilliant here next season.

***** posting as per from you.

Xhaka plays well despite everybody else sucking, best illustrated by the EL final.

If we can sell this midget for a profit to fund the signing of a player like doucoure that would be fantastic business!

Sell him before big teams figure out he’s not the next big thing. Get 60M and buy doucoure

I would sell for 45 million. Partey has a release clause of 43 million. Or we could be smart and pick up sangare and bennacer. If you go on arsenal reddit those idiots are valuing him at 80-100 million and are adamant that he is irreplaceable. Biggest bunch of clueless fans ive ever seen on there.

Not even being funny but I'm sure collectively this board could rebuild the team much more effectively than those two gimps

Xhaka has been guff for several seasons now. If we can get rid of anyone it should be him first. He has had his chance and blew it. If we get offered good money for Torreira and can get a replacement in then id go for it. But id prefer Xhaka to go first simply because he has been poor in a better team than this current team.

Audacity of selling Torreira over the brain dead Xhaka
Xhaka has been here three years and has already cost us a lot. How many more clowny goals do these people want us to concede because of that joker?

He wasn't a starter in the early lackluster wins over Egypt and Saudi Arabia. When they put him in the starting lineup against Russia, he made an immediate impact and they were a better team. They kept him in the lineup in the win over Portugal and the loss to France too.
