Xhaka also a player picked by 2/3 managers over Litlle Lucas. Must be a reason for that?

Arteta phenomenal, won a trophy, beat other big teams and managers, spent very little, managed the team for maybe only months with Covid etc.
Even Emery got top 5 and a European final in his first season. Poor business by Raul killed him.

Well if Torreira liked London we would have a Torreira and Partey midfield most likely. 2 of those 3 managers got sacked and we finished higher with Torreira regularly in the team compared to Xhaka.

What’s Lucas liking London got to do with anything? Arteta never picked him, or played, and then forced him out of the club on a loan. Didn’t rate the player at all.

Torreira has been wanting to leave for quite some time. And tbf he is far better suited to other leagues.
Well Arteta also consistently plays Xhaka who'd never get into any other half decent team and only drew interest from Hertha Berlin. Torreira actually landed in a superior club.

Nobody signed him even though we were willing to sell, a club took him for free, on loan, with no obligation to buy.

Pretty much all through out the summer Torino, Fiorentina and in previous windows Milan courted him. And whatever the process, Atletico wanted him and got him on board. Through out Xhaka's entire time here only Inter for a brief time showed some interest along with Hertha freaking Berlin who are totally garbage.
