Sell Torreira, sign Ceballos?
Is he meant to be a tourist?
A lot of people get homesick when living in a country where the climate is completely different, the culture is completely different, and the language is completely different.
It's not a tough/wimp issue IMHO.
Good from him, despite Milan trying to make it so like he had his head turned to lower his valuation.
@Rex Banner has me wanting for this to happen for 45mil so we could trigger Partey's RC.
Keeping Xhaka while selling Toreirra might be the final nail in the coffin for me.
Well that's the end of that.
Imagining signing Tierney, Saliba, Zaha and Ceballos in on window. Madness.
Give him the captaincy.
I'll lock it for now considering he said he hasn't been contacted by anyone.
Disgusting tactics from baldy and these Italian shysters
don't want to go full conspiracy but is it possible Emery is doing this on purpose almost as a protest because he wanted Nzonzi instead of Lucas?
No, he's doing it because Emery has no idea what he's doing.
At least some good news!
Ah ffs, I can live with Lucas going but feels like a waste in regards to his potential. Replace with Ndidi and I'm happy tho.
If Emery played him in his preferred & comfortable position things might be a bit different, he seems to play a lot of players in their unpreferred positions for some reason.
If Xhaka and Lucas both leave in Jan, we must be bringing someone in.
So he's doing it to make Torreira look **** so he can prove a point that we should sign Nzonzi - who is ****? What a top class manager we have.
Dunno, just making that suggestion because Mourinho has done things like that to prove a point to the board. Also when Pep wanted signings in January in a few years ago he deliberately named just 6 subs on the bench to show the club he didn't have enough players.
Remember our 22 game unbeaten streak last season, when Xhaka and Torreira were both playing very well...wish we could go back to that.
