Manager Wish-List Thread

I've already said, the managers in my list are the managers i'd consider moving Arteta on for. I don't see the point in moving him on if his replacements aren't what i see as a clear upgrade with a track record of winning leagues and / or champions leagues.

yeah that is great point & i think if kroenke want change manager (new manager who upgrade than arteta) for next season by make offer 15m per year (like they gave to arteta) to any elite manager in this world including to world class manager like hansi flick then i believe one of them will jump immediately to arsenal and leave their club

there is interesting fact even napoli small club who only won 3 major trophy (league title) in club history hired elite manager like conte same thing like everton small club hired world class manager ancelotti
but arsenal as biggest club in london who won 13x premier league with invincibles unbeaten just hired assistant manager like arteta who never become in his life career let alone become manager,

so i always believe since beginning hired arteta totally wrong because arsenal deserved get better manager (elite manager or world class manager) as wenger replacement or emery replacement, arsenal as biggest club in london too big for inexperienced manager like arteta

either kroenke lack of knowledge in football or he just want yes man, i believe more like kroenke lack of knowledge in football because the fact is if they want yes man then they will hire jason ayto as sporting director instead hired elite experienced sporting director like berta & the fact also kroenke hired world class director of football from barcelona like raul sanllehi.

Farzad,
who do you want as new Arsenal manager?

@HattoriHanzo

move to this thread for answer your question 👇 👇

**inzaghi contract still until 2026 there is no agreement that he already sign extension until 2027

number 1, i will pick inzaghi, of course that because this man absolutely balanced in term of attack and defense especially after he beat world class manager hansi flick, huge huge credit to inzaghi seriously and dont forget he did not spent a lot money to won serie a league + reach ucl final 2x , we need this man absolutely balanced his football style, really really love football style like that

number 2, i will pick hansi flick that because very attack minded, he is world class for playing ball possession style (just take a look barca player when on the ball, so good with ball possession holy s h i t e) + so creative break low block i remember when i watched barca beat atletico madrid low block at away, we really need flick attack minded to break strong mid block - low block at premier league + he can coaching his defender how to discipline even with play high line that is so impressive & lastly he is world class experienced manager who won every trophy in club & won world cup at national team

number 3, i will pick enrique that because attack minded (but not extreme like flick with high line) but i have problem with enrique style , i saw psg not really great in term of defense compare to flick and inzaghi, its look like enrique cannot coaching defense especially aston villa cooked him at second leg really showed to us that so easily to break psg defense even when aston villa have no elite player (just good-great player overall), i know inzaghi and flick get conceded a lot when barca vs inter but that because both team have elite-world class attacker so of course they will kill each other which is why aggregat 7-6

number 4, i will pick tuchel (i did not know his contract will end after 2026 LOL, thanks for reminder), why i pick him, firstly i did not know his football style but one thing can convinced me that when he won ucl at chelshit club in 20/21 only need half season by inherited chelshit worst squad since roman era because when he took over chelshit on february 2021 at that time chelshit number 8th at epl table + without spent money

I agree with you for all 4 of them, all 4 are better than Arteta.
Unfortunately, all 4 are not available.

Inzaghi doesn't even speak English, I don't know if Luis Enrique speaks it.
since calafiori flopped at LB because cannot defend + injury prone with the fact also MLS 18yo inexperienced who play out from his natural position can rid calafiori easily then calafiori can become translator

There's a clip of his post-match press conference where he refutes Tets' stupid claim that the PSG bench agreed with him that Arsenal were the better team & he does it in English no worse than either Emery or Tets himself.

Seeing as he's never played/managed in the British Isles whilst the other two have in some capacity is impressive in itself.

Yes, but he won't come to Arsenal.
He has just built exciting squad with PSG and might win UCL.
He will stay in Paris.

His contract with PSG is until 2027. We've tolerated Tets at the helm for almost 6 years now, what's another 2 in the grand scheme of things?

Arsenal media can't handle another manager saying "good ebening" at the start of every press conference. He will be labelled a "buffoon" after a couple of losses if he doesn't speak the King's English to their satisfaction.

At this rate, we probably stick with Arteta but there are no excuses for failing next season. The process isn't open ended. Personally, I'm watching Cesc and Jack to see if they're any good at a top level.
I would be happy with either Inzaghi and Enrique given our current squad but we are not getting either. I am happy for Arteta to get next season to see if he can improve the attack.

Just to clarify, the thumbs up is for the highlighted part of your post. The last thing I need is people thinking I can be reformed in any way

Nah, I love you work man. This place would be unbearable if we didn't have the likes of you, @Entropics and @viktor balancing out the disciples of Arteta. The outers are far more entertaining posters than on the other side tbh.

Agree. At this point, we might as well stick with Arteta and hope that Berta is driving the balance of the squad in case we change managers next summer.

Arsenal Quotes

I knew we were very different, that he (Ferguson) had a total hold over his club while at that time I was still more of a coach. I also recognised his huge qualities. He knew how to surround himself with the right people and didn't rest on his laurels when he was successful.
