We didn’t have such high standards when we hired Arteta. Fabregas has already accomplished more than Arteta before he was given the job. Anyway, Fabregas’s football intelligence alone puts him above Arteta in my book.

1. great experienced manager who never won league (only won cup + compete title race) or only compete title race or reach ucl final
2. elite manager who won league
3. world class manager who won league & ucl

Fair enough. I'm still of the opinion that Mikel deserves another season, but next season we need to win the PL/CL or another one can have a shot. Not sure who but we'll see who's available then.

At least Arsenal is an interesting prospect now for most managers.

sometimes i understand arsenal fans still hate fabregas but i cannot lie if he make great work at leverkusen like compete title race or win bundesliga or reach ucl final, i think not crazy or shocking if there is people considering fabregas as potential arsenal new manager

Sure but why would we give the job to Cesc if he does everything Arteta does? I thought people wanted someone who has a record of winning the biggest trophies, not just competing for them.

Its partly that but more in the mould of Wenger where he wants players to think for themselves and make decisions based on the game unfolding in front of them. Its not just Arteta, but most managers are completely orchestrating what players are doing on the pitch now. It seems to be successful when dealing with less talented players, but takes away from the great talents imo.
