Manager Wish-List Thread

We didn’t have such high standards when we hired Arteta. Fabregas has already accomplished more than Arteta before he was given the job. Anyway, Fabregas’s football intelligence alone puts him above Arteta in my book.

You can't compare as it was a different situation were Arsenal was in. No CL and not a challenger for the PL title. Arteta elevated Arsenal to the next level and bought the winning mentality back to the club. He may not be the ideal manager in many Arsenal fans eyes, and for what he have done to the club, you should show more gratitude and respect. As if Pulis would get the same result with the current squad we have is just nonsense.

And how can you tell that Fabregas have better football intelligence than Arteta?? Atleast Guardiola stated multiple times that Arteta was one of the smartest coach he has ever met. They have different styles of playing, but that Fabregas using a more fluent playing style does not mean he has superior football intelligence than Arteta.

Alonso would've been first for me, but never realistic. Would be awesome if Fabregas does well at Leverkusen. Someone to keep an eye on at least. Next season is do or die for Arteta for me.

For you to think Arteta has a better footballing brain than Fabregas is laughable. No doubt Arteta is a decent coach, but he does not come close to Fanregas in football intelligence. Fabregas was known for his world class football intelligence.

nah man, its not about arsenal not a challenger for the PL title like you said, because the real story is at that time we have chance hired ancelotti who world class manager but stupid idiot criminal raul sanllehi (as former arsenal head of football who similar role like sporting director) picked arteta for replace emery on 20 december 2019 & after that everton small club hired ancelotti on 21 december 2019

I asked chatGPT what Cesc's coaching philosphy was like and its as if they just made everything the complete opposite of Arteta's philosophy

Cesc Fabregas' coaching philosophy emphasizes that footballers should think quickly and creatively on the field, adapting to changing circumstances and making intelligent decisions. He believes in playing in the middle of the field, analyzing the game rapidly, and possessing a strong understanding of the game. Fabregas aims to instill these principles in his players, encouraging them to think critically and contribute to the team's overall strategy.

If Tets can rectify both losses & wins, I'm certain he is absent the tactical nous & blessed with a stubbornness to lead us to 38 draws.

The most revolting "Invincible" tribute act yet.
Most draws ever in a Prem season is Southampton with 18 in 1995. Tets has got 14 with 2 games left. Drat, no record incoming.

What a team our invincibles were had everything you could want played great football, pace power and skill. Going to games that season I was wishing the days away, really great seeing us dominate games.

Sign of a great side, teams looked beaten in the tunnel hoping for a result but fearing the worst.
Yeah, and the football was buzzing to watch!

chelshit fans gaslight us with said mourinho legacy at english competition better than wenger

LOL the fact is wenger 3x won PL including invincibles unbeaten + won double PL & fa cup for two times

mourinho won 3x PL + won double PL & carabao for two times

wenger legacy always above mourinho
Wenger eye for talent was unreal.

Players like PV4 stuggling at AC Milan, TH14 Juventus and punt signings off a hunch like Ljungberg who he wanted to sign iirc off the back of watching Sweden v England.

and mourinho won PL + carabao in his first season by inherited chelshit squad who finished 2nd in season before + mourinho spent a lot money in his first transfer window

completely different situation with wenger who won PL + fa cup in his first season by iinherited bang average squad who finished 5th, 12th, 4th, 10th, 4th in last 5 season before wenger joined + wenger barely spent in his first transfer window

All that whilst not moaning about the dastardly machinations of PGMOL or lamenting our injuries. It's amazing what having fantastic players with strong mentalities in every position led by one of the most visionary Gentlemen the game produced gets you.

Imagine the amount of excuse that arne slot can create end of the season if he fail win premier league this season because the fact is this is his first season with also the fact liverpool below arsenal in last 2 season + failed won any major trophy even under elite manager klopp + only spent 10m pounds for chiesa

arne slot just coming from farmer league + without experienced at premier league let alone title race + never handle big club like liverpool + never handle world class player like salah, VVD, allison, trent,
he just good manager that is it, he is not even close as great manager let alone elite manager or world class manager but the result he immediately won premier league in his first season

too risky for liverpool choose him to handle big club like liverpool because liverpool can collapse under type of manager like that, arne slot not only one example because there is a lot manager (good manager proven winner) in the past but they can won major trophy with only need 1-2 season even when that manager inherited poor-average squad + only spent less than 300m pounds

so this is why i will take any manager as long as he is proven winner coming from top 6 league (EPL, laliga, serie A, bundesliga, french league, dutch league),

Thierry Henry was very quick at analysing everything that was going on and how he needed to react. This intelligence, this capacity to evaluate, understand and question oneself, is also the mark of great players... For everyone, for the fans and for us, he symbolised the golden age of Arsenal.
