He cooked at Östersund, Steven Nswansea and Brighton. Flop at Chelsea and West Ham, two notoriously difficult environments to manage.
Not sure why AM-experts have dusted his career off already

He should have never went to Chelsea. Anyone could see that was a mess from a mile away. Thought he would have done better at West Ham. He needs to step back and go back to the basics because his West Ham results were poor. It happens to all managers I guess. They do need time to get things to turn around and you don’t get much of that in the most revenue generating league where everything is micro analyzed.

Managerial **** to go there right now as they're probably a 99.5% chance to get relegated. Hard to build your career upward by taking that job, huge chance you just get fired in the summer after the relegation.
Any decent manager should wait until summer before considering going to Wolverhampton.
Taking over a year one parachute club in the Championship can be a nice opportunity to get you back in the mix and build your reputation back up. Just look at Scott Parker.

Of course, it can also be a disaster like Will Still.

Wolves should go for Sergio Conceicao seeing as they have a good business relationship with Jorge Mendes who is his agent. They've had quite a few players on his books in the past.

It's one thing to take over with 10 games left or whatever and the team mathematically eliminated or close to it and you get a bit of a head start on implementing your system and won't wear any of the stink of the relegation.

But taking over a team that bad with 28 games left in the season means that you're almost certain to get lumped in as part of the problem when they do get relegated.

Yeah, that manager would basically get that relegation on his CV that people before him caused.
Only a really desperate manager would take that job. Or someone who's young and inexperienced chosen to be the fall guy.
