Because they don’t know who Xavi is. The average NT viewers are housewives, minorities and young kids. He had to justify his decision to pick Xavi over coaches that are more well known. The Dutch press are also bloodhounds. They are very nationalist and don't understand why they choose a foreign coach. They rather have Koeman than a quality coach like Xavi.

It seems to be a Dutch football peculiarity. Every Dutch squad seems to be beset with argument and division of some sort and they're not generally shy of plain speaking. Look at RVP saying Kuyt shouldn't be selected, De Boer saying that Sanogo gave him "nothing to work with". It's brutally honest to plain rude with a weird desire to start a fight in an empty room....Good luck Xavi
