He’s had them punching above their weight for years.

Them being relegated isn’t down to his management, but their lack of investment for all the years they’ve been in the Prem. He’s kept a Championship team up year after year.

One less boggie team to worry about though.

Can only assume Dyche told them he was leaving at the end of the season, so they wanted to see if a new manager bounce could save them and got rid of him early.

Burnley mist be stupid if they think their poor performance this season down to Dyche. He's kept them up with a championship squad. Definitely one of their best ever manager.

It's quite the risk, they could easily be the next Hull, Blackburn or Stoke that get stuck in the Championship or lower.

Unless there's been a massive fallout behind the scenes this is stupid from Burnley.
1. They've sacked a man who's had them punching well above their weight for years.
2. Thinking they'll get a better manager with their current position. Anyone that takes over will already be preparing for life in the Championship.
