It's comical how Lampard and Gerrard went from being the best English players in 2010 to magically being the brightest up-and-coming managers in 2020. What a coincidence.

Both guys had a meteoric rise in management based on name recognition and who they knew. And once they got promoted far above their level, both were found out.

Not the same thing as guys like Marsch and Potter who got to where they are due to their quality as managers.

Lampard is a smart guy who might be able to adjust and learn and succeed. Gerrard is probably headed for punditry sooner rather than later.

Look like villa are appointing emery i think it's good choice he has good record with midtable clubs he'll at least stabilize them.

West Brom looking to appoint Carlos Corberan. He did very well with Huddersfield, but walked away after the defeat in the playoffs. Corberan worked under Bielsa at Leeds.

This looks a very astute move by WBA. Far better manager than Steve Bruce.
