Pep should leave. He won the treble with them ans nobody cared. It will only damage his legacy staying there. He should take on more respectful challenge.
Pep doesn’t do challenges, had it easy wherever he’s been.

Cheated with PEDs in his playing career.
Cheated as manager of Barca with a roided Messi & bribed refs.
Bayern which is the easiest job in football (allegations of PED use amongst players).
Currently managing 115charges fc.

Doesn’t have the cojones to take on a managerial challenge. Probably eyeing up the Madrid job after Ancelotti leaves.

Football Leaks hacker threatens to release bombshell Man City emails and documents he claims will PROVE they breached FFP rules - as he insists he is 'CONFIDENT' authorities will 'find criminal relevancy'

Rui Pinto, 35, gained access to thousands of City emails in 2018 and leaked them
City are poised to face a hearing into their 115 Premier League charges this year

The hacker behind the explosive Football Leaks scandal has threatened to release a raft of Manchester City emails and documents - and is confident they will prove that the club deliberately cheated Financial Fair Play Rules.

Rui Pinto, who gained access to thousands of City emails and leaked a large number to the media in 2018, has alleged he has provided authorities in Germany and France with 'millions' of damning documents that he claims will show 'criminal relevancy'.

The 35-year-old has been in a witness protection programme since 2020. He was handed a four-year suspended sentence by a court in Portugal last year but avoided prison despite being found guilty of attempted extortion and illegal access to data.

Pinto is believed to have kept hold of the majority of the documents relating to City's financial activities but previously leaked bombshell details on the club's sponsorship income and specifics on former manager Roberto Mancini's contract.

City vehemently deny any wrongdoing but are expected to face a hearing into their 115 Premier League charges for alleged financial irregularities this autumn.

From his safehouse, Pinto told the OffShore-Alert Marbella Conference via video link: 'The Man City releases showed amounts of money being paid into by the club that were not mentioned to the football authorities.

'These documents are from part of the Premier League investigation into City. I have now handed five hard drives to French and German authorities with millions of documents, including more on City and I have described what is on each.

'I am confident they will find criminal relevancy.'

A legal representative for Pinto added: 'We have been approached by investigators to share information regarding Manchester City that has not been released before.

'We haven't released the information yet but we have a massive file of Manchester City-related documents that has yet to be released.

City said they were 'surprised' by the pending FFP investigation.

Launching a staunch defence, they added: 'The club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.

'As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.'

@Makingtrax b-b-b-but why couldn't Arsenal have Man City's success look at the net spend! Squad investment doesn't always lead to trophies.

Funny how people suddenly have an issue with Man City's spending now, even though people on this forum were defending them against you for years. Now because some authority figure tells them about it they parrott 115 charges like all this wasn't obvious to anyone with half a brain.

People need to be told by people in official capacities how to think so when the English media was hyping clubs like Chelsea and City they followed like sheep but now they're being exposed for the 115 by official capacities it's wrong all of a sudden.

Arsène Wenger was talking about this stuff 20 years ago and just got abused for it.

Yeah. The trouble is critical thinking takes some effort. You tell people foreigners are causing all their woes, then supporting Reform is a lot easier than finding out exactly why everything is broken.

It's why Iaugh at being treated like a contrarian on here. People think I'm 'trolling' but they don't realise how much they just parrott things they hear other people say, I get shocked at how little people think for themselves even when the evidence is infront of them.

Yeah, it's the same people who 10 years ago said that Arsène, coming out of austerity should be able to win the league straight away, but now explain how Arsenal spending €850m in the last 5 years still hasn't enabled us to catch up on City's spending yet.

I don't think it's logically inconsistent to have been Wenger out back then, while still appreciating the impact of finances on football and wanting to see Man City punished today

I feel like that's an extreme and overly simplistic argument

By the way we had a ton of cash rotting in the bank by the end of Wenger's tenure that could have been spent to boost our squad cost ... instead we artificiallt kept our squad cost low and let inflation erode all of the value

I wonder what role Wenger had in that decision because, if not, he must have at least sensed that he was being framed as guilty by association for not spending the money

For example, figures from the 2015/16 season when Leicester won the league

226 million in the bank:

With a squad cost of 252 million:
https://www.espn.co.uk/football/sto...er-squad-cost-compared-man-city-Sp**s-arsenal

So could have doubled our squad cost if we spent the money

Man City was at 420 million at the time

Talking of extreme over simplistic arguments, drawing a straight line between cash reserves and the erroneous conclusion that it equals a transfer kitty is somewhat childish.

A bit like checking your bank statement and assuming that the balance is available to spend while forgetting that the mortgage payment is being deducted the next day together with a credit card bill.

And even worse blaming the football team manager who was not in charge of said finances with a CEO and owners employing him. We’ve heard all this before. If you want to resurrect a Wenger bashing contest I’m happy to meet you in the appropriate thread, else get back in your cage. ;)

Sorry to call your position childish, I can tell it struck a nerve given the tone of the response

But the only reason Wenger's name was brought into this conversation is because you and a few others havent managed to let go of it for years, and are using it as a stick to bash how others feel about events going on today

Not interested in a Wenger bashing contest in the slightest

If you believe we needed to keep over 200 million in the bank then I dunno what to tell you, especially given we spent all of it eventually and are sitting on virtually nothing in the bank today

😂 You’re the only one with a stick and you’ve got hold of the wrong end of it.. In my book, the idea that Arsenal haven’t caught up to the spending at the very top of the league is as valid now as it was then. We’re closer to a title now we’re closer in spending, but the missed outcomes are still the same as they were 04 to 2019. Unlike you I’m not blaming Wenger or Arteta. Against the might of City, Arteta’s done as well as might be expected. Both superb managers.

Say even if the documents incriminate Manchester City, they're still inadmissible in court as they were obtained illegally.

Guys like you and @Makingtrax make the argument that money is the only relevant factor when it clearly isn't 🤷‍♂️
